These clips are only worth hanging lights for one season (summer, fall, etc.). I hung outdoor lights in mid June and by early September they began to fail, one after another. I do not recommend this product.

These clips are strong and easy to use. Because they are very sturdy, installation takes a little effort but well worth it. Excellent product.
