> 24 hourWell, the fan was packed very well, the base was nevertheless damaged during manufacturing or at some point before it was packaged and shipped. Not cool. Additionally, it is one of the single loudest fans I’ve ever owned. I had purchased the fan on the premise that it would be quieter then most. Additionally, the lowest speed runs much faster than most fans do at their high-speed. Think “wind tunnel”.

> 24 hourWhile I love how much air this pushes and the sound, which isnt too loud, the base was scratched up while in the box. Not sure if its a packaging issue or what but several other reviews mentioned the same thing.

> 24 hourThe fan is powerful. It’s was stronger than my Dyson, which has done nothing for the past 2 summers but collect dust. Assembly of the fan head was a struggle. The rear guard didn’t fit and I need to use pliers to have screw a metal piece in the rear grill to the motor. Despite that one issue, I’m pleased. It’s my intention to buy a few more of these.

> 24 hourLooking at the long list of reviews under this stand fan page, its puzzling since most refer to other products like desktop fans, USB fans, etc. My review is of the 16 inch stand fan only. This fan is built very solidly. Its all metal. Metal base, metal pole, metal motor housing, metal fan blades, and metal fan guards. Not plastic like most are these days. The controls are very simple. One three position switch for fan speeds (no electronics, no touch buttons, no programming, no remote control, etc.). This makes for a very reliable product that should last far longer than many others. The only other control is the one to have the fan go back and forth or not. Again its a simple mechanical control. This fan moves a bunch of air. Its not as quiet as some but it really moves air. I use it to cool off while on a treadmill and the air movement is really appreciated. The built in fans on treadmills are really not good enough. So how do I know its all metal? Simple, use a magnet. Wont stick to plastic. Final comment is this is a very good fan and I expect it to last far longer than the more complex one it replaced. If you want remote controls, programs, etc. then this is not the fan for you however.

> 24 hourThe amount of time and work to assemble this product is ridiculous. The parts were labeled alphabetically up to the letter T (that is 20 parts) and small print on the instructions was mind boggling. I would not recommend this product unless you love to put things together with lots of pieces for hours reading from tiny print.
