HOLMES 16 Stand Fan With Remote Control, Black

I have bought 2 of these about a year apart and they do what they are supposed to do....blow air for more than a month! I wont mention OeM. Oops! I run these fans every day and they are going strong Good product that I highly recommend.

Some of the other reviews noted that the fan is hard to assemble and too loud. I dont think either is an issue.

I got the 16” pedistal fan. Disappointed because it came with scratches on the bass and it’s not a bronze color it’s more of a silver. It puts out very good air and is relatively quiet, the instructions are horrible.. I am trying to decide if I’m going to keep it or return it. I may keep it because it is attractive, it has very good airflow and it would be a hassle to box it back up. Really wish it were bronze instead of silver and they should not of sent me a fan that has scratches on it. Not impressed with this company so far.

I love how heavy and nice looking this fan is. The 1 thing I wish I could change is the length of the cord. If the cord was 2 feet longer it would be much more convenient. Even with the cord length I would order this fan again and recommend it to others. It is heavy duty and will last a very long time

Motor feels heavy enough to run cool. The noise level is purely the sound of air turbulence, the fan and motor are near silent. Arrived scuffed around the base, packaging was not damaged. Aside from that, a step up from the usual plastic fan. A solid three stars for this fan, I would recommend.

My 2nd same exact metal fan, my 1st fan lasted me years is why I bought another of same exact brand, blows strong, made of all metal and easy to clean

Our other fan broke that we had forever. I did a lot of research and we decided to go with this one. We are very happy with it! The quality is great! The only thing is the levels are put on with a sticker. Felt for the price the sticker was a little cheap but the fan functions great. Not too loud!

Really, its wonderful. Looks like a fan from a bygone era, and sounds like a smooth running old fashioned jet airplane...but I love that too. It has personality and melts my heart.

In summary -- nice shell with a PoS motor... Fan wasnt cheap -- expected it would be built to last given the price and its metal construction. Instead the motor windings shorted because the manufacturer was super cheap and skimped on insulation between them. When it did work, it moved air well. Its certainly a little louder than plastic fans (this should not come as a surprise from a metal fan). I wasnt particularly thrilled that low speed was equivalent to high speed on any other fan model. If you turned up the fan all the way up to actually be on high speed you could probably power an air boat or hovercraft (and yes its just as loud as you might imagine one of those being). Contacted this company 8 days again to see about a replacement motor... yet to hear back. Will update review either in a week or when I hear from them.

It Was really easy to assemble, it’s a little loud but you get use to it after sleeping with it for a while had a hiccup with the shipping but amazon replaced it all in all it’s a great fan
