08-06-2025In summary -- nice shell with a PoS motor... Fan wasnt cheap -- expected it would be built to last given the price and its metal construction. Instead the motor windings shorted because the manufacturer was super cheap and skimped on insulation between them. When it did work, it moved air well. Its certainly a little louder than plastic fans (this should not come as a surprise from a metal fan). I wasnt particularly thrilled that low speed was equivalent to high speed on any other fan model. If you turned up the fan all the way up to actually be on high speed you could probably power an air boat or hovercraft (and yes its just as loud as you might imagine one of those being). Contacted this company 8 days again to see about a replacement motor... yet to hear back. Will update review either in a week or when I hear from them.

> 3 dayWe bought the 16 oscillating fan and when assembling it found the fan guard locking pins didnt fit onto fan motor housing correctly. It appears that there was a manufacturing problem with the rear fan guard. It was returned back to Amazon for a full refund.

> 3 dayI have bought three of these over the last 4 years and they hold up very well as long as you don’t accidetnally knock it over. They cannot withstand a fall. Still the best looking fans you can get. Beats the looks of any other stand fans. Worth the extra cost. And they are still as strong as they were 4 years ago and they are ran for 8-10 hours a night every night.

> 3 dayOnly bummer about this is the settings, the low setting is too high.

> 3 dayLooks great. I hate plastic fans. However shortly after I purchased it, the fan cage and blades began rusting. Maybe someday I’ll sand it down and paint it. Only been used indoors, I do live in coastal California so maybe it’s the sea air?

> 3 dayI have this in my bedroom and it looks nice. Not cheap looking like all the other fans which are made of plastic. Very powerful too and creates a nice white noise making it easier to sleep.

> 3 dayAfter a year it died. Not good value. A fan should last longer than that...

09-06-2025Great fan and super sturdy! As good as it is I do think maybe the price is a tad too high for a basic fan however the quality of the metal and comfort of its power is worth it! I would recommend and even buy again! I just think the price point is about $10-15 over priced for a fan that’s not industrial! However it also is esthetically pleasant and still compliment the look of any modern design of living spaces today!

> 3 dayLooking at the long list of reviews under this stand fan page, its puzzling since most refer to other products like desktop fans, USB fans, etc. My review is of the 16 inch stand fan only. This fan is built very solidly. Its all metal. Metal base, metal pole, metal motor housing, metal fan blades, and metal fan guards. Not plastic like most are these days. The controls are very simple. One three position switch for fan speeds (no electronics, no touch buttons, no programming, no remote control, etc.). This makes for a very reliable product that should last far longer than many others. The only other control is the one to have the fan go back and forth or not. Again its a simple mechanical control. This fan moves a bunch of air. Its not as quiet as some but it really moves air. I use it to cool off while on a treadmill and the air movement is really appreciated. The built in fans on treadmills are really not good enough. So how do I know its all metal? Simple, use a magnet. Wont stick to plastic. Final comment is this is a very good fan and I expect it to last far longer than the more complex one it replaced. If you want remote controls, programs, etc. then this is not the fan for you however.
