Thank you! ******************** I finally had a chance to use this today, which is a cold and very rainy day. The first time I opened it up it did so perfectly. Got in my car, pushed the button to close it and again it worked perfectly. I was pretty happy. However, when I got to my destination (Ironically at Kohl’s where I was returning another item), it wouldn’t open no matter what I tried. It was absolutely pouring out so I tried to open it manually but it had no way to stay open. I ended up holding it near the top of the umbrella to get some shelter as I made my way to the door. By the time I got back to the car I was soaked. I needed to make another stop and didn’t even bother to try to use it...I couldn’t get much wetter than I already was. I am returning it for a refund and will look to buy a manual umbrella. The two star rating is that it looks nice and has great coverage when it works, as well as the no hassle return.

The 2 stars is for the size. When I order something my expectation is the item will be as described or at least very close to the description. I ordered the 46 inch and it measures a hair over 40 inches, not even close to 46 inches. I wanted a larger umbrella because Im a bigger guy and those 6 extra inches would have made a difference. If youre OK with the not as advertised size, this umbrella seems like it would be just fine.

Works great so far. I havent used it long enough to know how durable it is.

Where I live there are no sidewalks, so glow-in-the-dark strips make night walking safer. Sheds water efficiently with a few shakes when closed, so no puddles when umbrella is brought inside. The grip is solid, but I miss the U-curved handle to free up both hands when umbrella is closed.

Its a really nice well made durable compact umbrella ☔☔☔. It was supposed to be black on the inside but it isnt as advertised. I decided to keep it anyway.
