HP 14 Laptop, AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD Storage, 14-inch Full HD Display, Windows 10 Home, Thin & Portable, Micro-edge & Anti-glare Screen, Long Battery Life (14-fq1021nr, 2021)

Was a bit slow running. Ended up buying another HP directly from the HP website and there is nothing wrong with the computer but I also bought more RAM.

I bought the laptop with another 8 GB ddr4 3200 mhz RAM, the 5500u Ryzen runs a lot better with dual channel and with high speed RAM (3200). With an external app you can change the TDP of the CPU from 15w to 25w easily with no danger. I puts mine to 30w and the temps are quite reasonable and the performance is 40% better. The thing that i highly dislike is the lack of BIOS settings for increasing VRAM on graphics..you cant get more than 512mb and the Vega 7 chip of the 5500u can handle 2gb of VRAM on others laptops. Only because HP put that bottle neck on it.

HP has done it yet again. Arrogant engineering is the phrase of the day.

Status of the package upon arrival.

I do not like the The trackpad and the keyboard. It makes a clicky sound that seems annoying. The sound quality is good. It is lightweight. However, it feels cheap for the price due to the keyboard And the trackpad.

Laptop was delivered without a power cord and has had problems running from day 1. It now wont turn on but a claim cant even be filed because the sticker that contains the serial number was never provided.

everything works fine, but windows 11 has an error that drains the battery even when turned off, wait for an update or stay with windows 10

Yeah... its pretty lightweight for a 14 inch laptop. I was taken aback by this initially- thinking they may have left out some parts!

I know I ordered the touchscreen but the laptop that was delivered to me has no touchscreen! Apart from that, this laptop is very lightweight and I love that.

Fast, lightweight, works with 5g. Windows 11 is a bit difficult to adjust to. Screen is pretty small.
