Greater than one weekOnly thing I didnt really like is that the colors were a bit inaccurate out of the box, used some software and got a proper color profile on it and its amazing.

Greater than one weekExcellent performance at this price point. It has very good picture and motion quality with just one significant ergonomic issue, the user controls are on the back. This makes setup and adjustments bothersome. This monitor also solved an odd issue, Prime Video not playing in HD on a 2 monitor system even though the old monitor is HDCP compliant.

> 3 dayIt was time to upgrade from my 24 inch AOC. I was looking for something around $200 that was bigger and more fit for gaming since I have start playing more. Id say this monitor is perfect for everything! Flat monitors tend to have better quality displays 27 inches is perfect for just about anything, work, gaming, movies Refresh rate of 165Hz is awesome, I definitely notice the difference with gaming Color and brightness are awesome, works perfectly for work (design work) I dont normally order stuff that doesnt have Prime delivery but after searching around, this was the best choice. I highly reccommend!

> 3 dayDo yourself a favor and wait until this goes on sale again for <$200. Anyone in the market for a 1440p monitor should seriously consider the X27q. People over on r/buildapcsales go absolutely gaga for this monitor whenever theres a flash sale. And for good reason, too. It has all the specs you want - 165hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and of course the budget friendly yet crystal clear 1440p resolution. No, you wont get HDR or any other bells and whistles, but for everyday use from streaming media content to gaming, the X27q is more than up to the task.

> 3 dayWhat I didnt like : image ghosting and saturation spikes when moving camera view quickly when gaming at the highest response time (level 4), image tearing when moving camera view quickly when gaming at lower response times (level 1) What I liked : easy setup and installation, sturdy stand with full rotation and tilt options, good color accurate panel with high refresh rate and great OSD troubleshooting features

05-06-2025I read all the reviews and became scared of the panel lottery, but the price was just too tempting. And all this BOE fearmongering turned out to be nonsense. I think youre going to be subjected to panel lottery in general (not just BOE vs LG) and this will be your primary concern. For me, I got an absolutely immaculate BOE. Zero light bleed. Colors look great, a feast for my eyes. Very happy with my supposedly inferior panel. The only scenario where I could see this even being a small problem is if you plan to buy multiple X27qs. In that setup, ideally all your panels would be identical... but even then, these specs at this price point? Still compelling even with that caveat. Another huge bonus for me personally is the stand. It has a small footprint yet is very sturdy and has TONS of adjustment. Most cheaper monitors will cut corners on the stands, and I cannot understate how awesome it is to have the option for portrait mode and height/tilt adjustment out-of-the-box. Again, mind blowing at this price point. I primarily play a lot of fast-paced, flick-shot arena FPS on mouse and would notice any sort of delay or ghosting instantly - there isnt any. I dont own testing equipment to measure exact color accuracy and response time, but I am particular about image quality/delay and have daily-driven more displays than I can count, including 4k and 300hz displays. After 2 months of daily use, I can assure you that this thing punches WAY above its price range - assuming you dont get a dud. But that applies to pretty much any display you may be considering buying.
