> 3 dayThe HP X27q Gaming Monitor has already been a game changer. Going from a 21-inch 1080p(FHD)/60hz to a 27-inch 1440p(QHD)/165hz is amazing. Not only I’m getting more screen space due to higher pixel count but its significantly smoother. The IPS panel with HDR also makes this screen much brighter and more color accurate. The overall look of this monitor is premium with super slim bezels and good adjustment options for height and tilt. The size and viewing angles allow me to use it as a TV sometimes when watching streaming content. I gamed a few times so far and its far more responsive than my previous monitor. Great buy and value for the premium feature set. For gaming, 1440p is a sweat spot as it allows more FPS then going with 4k which would be far more resource hungry and personally at 27-inch your eyes would not notice much difference in detail. Be sure that your PC has a newer HDMI or DP versions to ensure you can use the 144/165hz modes.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research before I came to the conclusion of buying this monitor. This monitor has Minimal ghosting Good colors HDR (not great) Adjustable stand, vesa mount Sleek non gamer design So yeah I have no complaints about this thing, super good value, most comparable monitors will be a bit more expensive and may have compromises For anyone that’s going to use this monitor, I recommend setting MPRT to 1 and response time to 2 for the best brightness and latency

> 3 dayI read all the reviews and became scared of the panel lottery, but the price was just too tempting. And all this BOE fearmongering turned out to be nonsense. I think youre going to be subjected to panel lottery in general (not just BOE vs LG) and this will be your primary concern. For me, I got an absolutely immaculate BOE. Zero light bleed. Colors look great, a feast for my eyes. Very happy with my supposedly inferior panel. The only scenario where I could see this even being a small problem is if you plan to buy multiple X27qs. In that setup, ideally all your panels would be identical... but even then, these specs at this price point? Still compelling even with that caveat. Another huge bonus for me personally is the stand. It has a small footprint yet is very sturdy and has TONS of adjustment. Most cheaper monitors will cut corners on the stands, and I cannot understate how awesome it is to have the option for portrait mode and height/tilt adjustment out-of-the-box. Again, mind blowing at this price point. I primarily play a lot of fast-paced, flick-shot arena FPS on mouse and would notice any sort of delay or ghosting instantly - there isnt any. I dont own testing equipment to measure exact color accuracy and response time, but I am particular about image quality/delay and have daily-driven more displays than I can count, including 4k and 300hz displays. After 2 months of daily use, I can assure you that this thing punches WAY above its price range - assuming you dont get a dud. But that applies to pretty much any display you may be considering buying.

Greater than one weekI recently ordered January 21, received January 24. I got an LG panel, very happy with that over the BOE panel! The picture quality is miles better than 1080p, and the refresh rate is top notch. Cant compare this to other 1440p monitors, but I am highly satisfied. With some calibration, 10/10

> 3 dayI gave this 5 stars because of the speed of delivery, especially during Christmas week. He had it 4 days earlier than expected. I cant attest to the quality or anything else because I havent used it. Ive asked him how it works and if hes happy and he smiled and said yes and anyone with a teen knows thats as good as it gets. Hes been gaming for 4 years and has a YouTube channel so Im assuming that he knows what hes talking about.

> 3 dayI got a Dell 24” curved gaming monitor prior to this one and honestly I regret it. This HP monitor is sooo much better!! The quality is better and brighter. The only thing I wish it had was more ports.

> 3 dayGot two of these for my first computer build in ten years! Beautiful picture quality, and not a bad looking monitor either. Took a star off because these dummies didnt include a power cable for one of the monitors. Cost me an extra $8 and one less day of gaming... first world problems.

> 3 dayThe monitor itself is great. Clear image, and very nice response times. Satisfied with my purchase with what I paid for it. However I was shipped a faulty power cable. Luckily I had a UPS, as using the power cable that was shipped in the box caused the circuit to short. The first time I tried to power the monitor on, it immediately shut my other monitor and PC off. I attempted to start the monitor again, with the same results. Used a different outlet on the same circuit, with the same result. I ended up using an old power cable from an unused TV and now it works with no issue. Overall the issue was a minimal fix for me. However I do not think every customer will be equipped for that situation, nor should they have to. Some bad QC as a faulty cable can cause some damage. Would have given this five stars otherwise.
