> 3 dayThis is nothing more than an Valve Index base station in HTC packaging. And while the price is $50 more than what Steam lists theirs at, you get less in the box. The Steam version includes: a 15 power cable, Mounting Equipment, Regional Power Adapters, and a cleaning cloth. Dont Buy HTCs version unless Steams listing is Out of Stock or unavailable in your region.

> 3 dayI needed one more base station to clear out some occlusion issues I had due to items in my room, and it works perfectly. I liked it so much I got 2 more, and now I have 5 bases and very little issue with tracking anymore.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly. Price is just steeper than on Steam, but they have been out of stock on steam so I went with this.

> 3 dayLike other reviews have stated there is no mount. You will have to buy a stand or mount separate. The cord is also a lot shorter (maybe about 5 feet) than the one that came with my Steam VR set. So plan accordingly. It is steamVR compatible. If this is your 3rd+ base station when you first start steamVR you may get notified that you need to change the channels on the base stations. The steamVR popup window will guide you through this process. If they add the mount and increase the length of the cord. I will raise it to 5 stars. This base station is $50 more than it is on the steam store (but at least it is available). edit: I had a mechanical failure under a year. HOWEVER vive replaced it for free and even has a recycling program for the old broken one. Because of this I am raising it to 5 stars for the time being (I will lower it back to 4 if this one dies under a year as well).

> 3 dayI bought this 2 years ago but never really opened until April. after using it for a bit the light start blinking red Iv tried everything to fix it even contacting valve I was told I was out of luck. this is the 3rd one to fail over the 2 years (2 valve 1 htc). Sadly cant return it due to out of warranty now but just wanted to give people a heads up.

> 3 dayso I ordered 2 of these and 1st 1 I opened was new with protective sticker over face and power supply in bag. the 2nd 1 I opened was missing protective sticker, had minor scratches and smudges and power supply didnt have a bag and no twist tie with fingerprints. ok I can live with that, then I plug it in everything looks good for 2 seconds then I get the flashing red light indicating hardware failure... not cool

> 3 dayBut the issue is that they do not last long. This is the second one Ive had to buy within a years time (replacing the first one I bought). Pretty expensive for something you have to keep replacing.

> 3 dayConfirmed compatible with the Valve Index, but mounting hardware is not included. Box contains literally just the sensor, and the power brick.

> 3 dayOrdered 2 for my Valve Index to replace Base Station 1.0s. Paired easily and worked perfectly with my existing mounts.
