> 3 dayHavent been able to use the one I got yet because they are not compatible with the first generation base stations. Dont expect to buy only one and have it work with the old ones you already have. Buy two.

> 3 dayCable is shorter and arrives bent up, so it doesnt flow down the wall very well. No mount kit, or stand. You pay $50 more, just to get less. I guess if you absolutely cant wait (like me) then get this. Youll prolly be disappointed though.

> 3 dayWorks great as intended. Cable is a bit shorter than standard steamvr base stations.

> 3 dayThe device itself works fine, but all the mounting hardware was missing from the box, now I have to figure out what I am going to do with this till I can purchase something that should have come with it.

> 3 dayThis base station is $50 more than what steam is selling it for and it does not come with -ANY- mounting hardware or even screws. You gotta do what you gotta do but they are clearly taking advantage of the current situation.

17-11-2024Valve confirmed that this base station is dead. We have an Index and it gave us a warning that it wasn’t functioning. They used the serial number and found it broken. THIS IS RIDICULOUS: WITHIN 74 DAYS! It’s been on a pole anchored to the wall the entire time. No damage on our part, just randomly died. Our other two base stations have lasted since October of last year.
