> 3 dayThis seems to be pretty much standard authentic Neatsfoot oil. It softens leather and makes it flexible. Once a season I gently scrape and rub off much of my mink oil and wax and apply this. After this soaks in and dries I put the wax and oils back on and continue to do that about every other week throughout the season.

> 3 dayI used this to restore an old brown leather motorcycle jacket and it worked perfectly. It darkened the leather which is fine by me. After drying and sitting for a day you could not see any blotchy patches from the oily treatment. The oil soaks in well over 24 hours and looks uniform across the leather jacket surfaces. The leather jacket is much softer now. Again, it did darken the leather but it pretty much restored the same dark brown color the jacket had when first purchased years ago.

> 3 dayI like that this only has a slight oil odor. I used it to help break in a pair of work boots that even after two weeks of wear would not give. I also used it to soften up some suspender button tabs. Eight ounces is a lot of oil. I expect this can to last a while. The can warns that it will darken leathers of a lighter color.

Greater than one weekThis is the good stuff! This is similar to what we rubbed into our baseball gloves 50 years plus ago, to soften and preserve them! Dont be afraid of what the shoes or leather looks like when first applied, as leather will soak this up like a sponge, leaving the article look like new. As another posted, ny luck was so good with this, I did other articles that I didnt intend to treat, and they all look great!

Greater than one weekEasier to apply than mink oil. Great for leather boots. Darkens the leather. Great product. Will buy again.

> 3 dayForget weeks of agony breaking in Docs! After daily application to both the inside and outside of the boots, letting sit for a few hours, then wiping off. They were ready to wear in two days and it felt like I had already walked in them for months! Using this on Dr. Martens was game changing and I will do it from now on. The picture is very glossy, this was when it was applied. After wiping dry, I left it to soak in the rest, after soaked in fully it returns to a nice factory sheen once again.
