all my leather goods are harness grade and this is the best neets-foot oil I have used in over 60 yrs.

I used this to restore an old brown leather motorcycle jacket and it worked perfectly. It darkened the leather which is fine by me. After drying and sitting for a day you could not see any blotchy patches from the oily treatment. The oil soaks in well over 24 hours and looks uniform across the leather jacket surfaces. The leather jacket is much softer now. Again, it did darken the leather but it pretty much restored the same dark brown color the jacket had when first purchased years ago.

The liquid makes a mess trying to get it out of the can and on to the leather... needs a different container maybe pump bottle?

I really like this product. Never used it before and applied it to an old leather strope and I was amazed at the results. This oil seems to absorb better into the leather. The conditioning results was obvious

Being an old foggy and sticking to things that I know work I went to get some of this at a shoe store and they tried to sell me a spray can of silicone shoe stuff. If I wanted that I would have asked for it. As it is Huberds Shoe Grease has been oiling loggers boots for a hundred years. Thankfully Amazon carries it

Though advertised as Huberds Leather Dressing Neatsfoot Oil 8 oz., I received Huberds Boot and Saddle Soap 8 oz.. I used about a 3rd of the plastic bottle before I realized it was not neatsfoot oil as advertised (my fault for not reading the label first). I guess the saddle soap is good but its not what I bought, so its only one star.

Forget weeks of agony breaking in Docs! After daily application to both the inside and outside of the boots, letting sit for a few hours, then wiping off. They were ready to wear in two days and it felt like I had already walked in them for months! Using this on Dr. Martens was game changing and I will do it from now on. The picture is very glossy, this was when it was applied. After wiping dry, I left it to soak in the rest, after soaked in fully it returns to a nice factory sheen once again.

Our leather dressing formula is created for softening, restoring and preserving leathers that do not need additional waterproofing or must remain breathable. Neat"s-foot oil has been used since the 18th century and is commonly used by people wanting an all natural product for their leather. It is also useful in art applications to prevent drying out of brush bristles and buildup of paint in the ferrule. It can also be used to protect wooden furniture. It can easily be removed without a solvent. Neat"s-foot oil is derived from bovine shin and feet bones that would normally be considered waste in that industry. It does not solidify at room temperature and should be applied with a cloth or brush at least once a year. Because it is an oil, it does have a mild waterproofing effect but for additional waterproofing see one of our other fine products. Not recommended for suede or white leather. May darken certain leather. 8 oz. Length: 1.5. Width: 5.25. Height: 2.88.
