Used these to make a neat/clean looking pass through in my kitchen sink base cabinet. Wanted to make where my dishwasher lines pass through look neat and tidy. Also serves to help the hoses not rub against rough wood from the cut out. Im sure not the intended purpose for most people using these but they worked perfect and the price was right! The outer ring is a hard plastic material. The inner fingers are a more rubbery material that easily allow wires and whatnot to pass through. Would recommend

I needed to run some cables for electronic components through bookshelves and these were super easy to use and look great. I was worried the hole size may be off from reviews on similar products but this was the perfect fit and slide in easy. Cables pop in and the side flaps dont get in the way at all. Ill try to update this with a photo once i have everything neatly put away and in its spot.

Worked great, just what was needed for running audio and video cables for a makeshift buffet console. Fit perfect with our 2 inch keyhole saw cuts. Hides the cables well with minimal visibility from the front view of the console

Good grommet to keep water out of boxes

I have an aquarium, and a water source that contains chlorine. Normally you can just set the buckets out uncovered for a day and itll evaporate off, but I wanted to put a lid on it to keep animals and people talk-spit out of them, but not leave the lid air-tight so as to defeat the whole purpose. So I used a 2 (I think?) hole saw to cut a perfectly sized hole in the bucket lid, slipped the grommet in, affixed it with a bit of aquarium silicone, just cause I know its safe for fish, and good to go. Now when I fill up the new buckets I can slip an airstone and a uv-c light/sterilizer in and out to set the lid down on a rack, or even get the airlines and and power cable in in the first place. The grommet feels like a firm silicone. If I just lifted the lid up the uv-c light and air stone would just fall through and drag on the floor, but the grommet is just flexible enough to pull both up and get them kind of stuck against each other in that grommet hole which makes things a lot easier. So if youre wondering if its soft/flexible enough, I jam a glass tube against a piece of hard plastic and get the two wedged in there (on purpose) every day and nothings broken yet. The grommet flaps are still even retaining their flatness. Decently wide overhang lip too. I still have 3 left and Id definitely use them before buying new ones.

These grommets wiggle around and are loose in a 2 hole. I had to wrap tape around them so that they gripped the 2 hole that I drilled in my desk top.
