> 24 hourThis tool is super-power. That can be good or bad. We have a 25 gallon tank with glass that is about 3/16 thick. That is almost too thin for this cleaner. Why? Because this magnet is so strong my skinny, no muscle, wife can hardly pull it along! The thinner the glass the closer the magnets and the stronger the pull. This one is STRONG. Got a 1/4 or 1/2 thick glass tank? This cleaner is for you! When you stick the two halves together without any glass in between you cannot pull them apart (Really! and Im 511 and 175 pounds) ) You must rotate the halves 90 degrees to reduce the surface area of magnet contact in order to reduce the force enough to separate the halves. Also - I would not wear a watch around this tool. Its that strong!

> 24 hourGreat glass cleaner with both a metal (for glass tanks) and plastic (for acrylic tanks) scraper attachments included. Easy to use and very sturdy. The wood-themed one is very slick!

> 24 hourI usually don’t write many reviews unless I have something that would be useful to another reefer. THIS HAS TO BE THE VERY BEST CLEANING MAGNET FOR A REEF TANK. I have 14 tanks that I need to keep clean and it’s a chore. Anything that makes the work less and the hobby more enjoyable I always recommend. There’s ALOT of substandard products in the reefing industry. I have a FB group page (Paul’s Pods) that I will be reviewing reefing products and also pump and LED /light Comparisons. Et equipment all of my contacts within the reefing community. I also just bought two of their heaters as well, and like the magnet, it is above average and the pricing is incredibly fair. Take a look at competitors prices. You’d think that would mean they were a premium working product. Not so much. I will be doing a demonstration video to highlight these two outstanding products and comparing them to competitors. Come take a look. You won’t be sorry after buying one of these if you need one. They are durable and will last quite a while.

> 24 hourLike other reviewers, I had never heard of Hygger or seen them in any of my local fish stores, but the solid review made me hopeful. Let me just be clear: this product is FANTASTIC for a glass tank. My 30gal tank was in rough shape - green algae, hard water residue and worst of all, red slime algae (cyanobacteria) taking over my glass. The two scrapers I had before (one with a soft scraper, one with a hard scraper - kinda feels like velcro?) couldnt put a meaningful dent in it. The exterior handle on this product is comfortable, and it covers a decently large area so youre not cleaning like 2 inches at a time. The magnetic grip is super strong but not impossible to separate like some people warned. You just twist one side 90 degrees and it slips off. But this also means its not falling off in the tank. Even if it does, the scraper side FLOATS! My last scraper would sink into the substrate and then you have to clean it thoroughly so youre not accidentally scratching the glass with tiny bits of substrate. Not a problem here. The scraper itself did a pretty good job breaking up the newer algae growths and hard water residue. It wasnt quite tough enough to break up the red slime algae, but clicking on the razor blade attachment was very simple and I didnt even get my fingers anywhere near the blade. The blade made relatively quick work of the rest of the algae and the combo of blade and scraper made cleaning a breeze. Finally, my tank is back to a clear quality and I can enjoy my pets again in all their glory. Taking the razor off to store was also very easy and once again - did not run into any issues in terms of nicking fingers. Only thing I can think of is that if you have an acrylic tank you might have an issue because its so effective? A bow front might be a challenge too, not sure as Ive never owned one. But for a rectangular glass tank, this is perfect. Definitely worth the price.

> 24 hourI hunted for a strong magnet, and researched. I found that here. It has a very strong grip on 6mm - 1/4 inch glass. Wife is small and has a hard time moving it. I find takes a heavy hand to move it about, but that is what I looked for, right, something to scrape the algae HARD! I would not buy this for any thinner glass and suspect it would work fine with 3/8 and over, probably 1/2.

> 24 hourI was scared to buy one of these because I had heard the horror stories about mag scrubbers and how they can mess up your glass badly. But I had I really bad calcium deposit problem and a regular scrubbing pad for aquariums was doing nothing. With a bit of elbow grease(Im out of shape so I was a bit winded after haha) I was able to use the scraper attachment to tackle the calcium while the scrubby bit did its magic to the glass. The result was the most beautiful tank glass I had ever seen. Wow! Sadly, I need to purchase another as my husband thought it would be neat to put them together... outside of the glass... Yeah. We cant pry them apart for the life of us so were getting a new one. Use caution so you dont get yours stuck together as well. Good grief!

> 24 hourGift to our son in law who has a saltwater tank-that always needs cleaning. He dropped it in the water and within minutes his tank’s glass as spotless and now I can see all the beautiful fish and coral! Great suction, extra blades!

> 24 hourThe magnet is super strong. It cleans the fish tanks perfectly. The only downside is the strength of the magnet. I took the magnets out of the box and they stuck together immediately. It was almost impossible to separate the two magnets afterwards. Otherwise very good product.
