Pros: I have a large 1/2” thick acrylic tank and the magnet is so strong that it holds both halves together as advertised. It appears to be well-made and should last a long time. Cons: The inside brush has a surface that is to coarse for an acrylic tank. I tested a small area first and it SCRATCHED THE HELL OUT OF THE ACRYLIC aquarium. Nowhere in the description or in the package does it tell you that it is not designed for acrylic. BUYER BEWARE.

Works great. Don’t let the two halves connect without cardboard. Very hard to separate.

I love this thing. The price is excellent compared to other premium options. The magnet is extremely strong, more than enough for the 10mm glass on my tank. It scrapes most stuff on the first pass. 2-3 passes if youve let coralline and spirorbid worms build up. My old mag-float didnt even stand a chance against that stuff. It would just get stuck and float away. No more sticking my arm in the tank with a razor blade!

The Hygger scraper is solid and aesthetically on the mark. I have a 3 star for the simple fact the package was open, there was no tape or anything to secure the contents and could have easily fallen out during transit.

Very strong magnet, and attractive, too! Nice packaging, shows quality and safety before you install it. Watch your fingers if holding the two pieces near to each other. Even the instructions mentioned this, and if you’re not careful it could pinch you, trust me! Once installed easy to move around the glass and corners. I got the bigger size for my 75 gallon due to the thicker glass. Love the razor blade, no more slippery gloves fingers trying to scrape with a naked blade!

Got this to replace a different brand one that had gotten old. This works great. Very powerful and easy to use. Cleans my glass tanks with very few passes. I keep it in the tank and run it whenever needed to keep algae under control.

I was very skeptical of spending so much on what amounts to basically two magnets and a razor, but I am so so so glad that I did. I have a 100 gallon tank and used to use a handheld razor on a stick. My tank is rimless and has 12mm thick glass and the magnets are able to hold incredibly strong through the glass. I am able to clean my glass thoroughly without having to get my hands wet. This thing is truly incredible and worth every cent.
