Greater than one weekThese are much better looking and a lot stronger than the galvanized ones I buy at the lumber yard. They fit the post, and even have a metal plate in the bottom to keep the post off whatever is under it. Very nice. If you plan to stain or paint I suggest you do it before you put the posts into these anchors.

Always something to do
> 3 dayThese brackets are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. I’m very happy with the thickened base and how square everything is. These are excellent and I would order them again without hesitation.

> 3 dayThese are very heavy duty and should serve their purpose well. Nicely constructed, well finished (appear to be powder coated) and nicely decorated. Perfect for deck railing posts or similar projects.

> 3 dayThese post bases are SOLID !! They are made from thick gauge metal and have absolutely no flex to them. They are finished off with a black powder coat that looks good and will protect the underlying metal from rusting. I am impressed they came with wedge anchors as well as lag bolts to secure the 4x4’s to the post bases.

> 3 dayI was given the opportunity to review the INSAGA 4X4 Post Bases and all I can say is WOW! The item arrived within a couple days in a box that was quite heavy. I was confused as to what I ordered that was that heavy. Im mentioning this point because these decorative post bases are made of HEAVY DUTY , powder coated black, steel. Now that was a surprise, and a great surprise. AND, the are BEAUTIFUL! Look at the included pics and you will see how beautiful and what an upgrade to what I am currently using to support some 4X4 posts on my (very dirty) deck. These are going to be a beautiful compliment to my freestanding posts Im using on my deck. VERY PLEASED.

> 3 dayI am in the process of building a free-standing Pergola, and need something to hold the 4 main vertical posts secure to the ground (concrete, but apparently wood mounting works too). The local hardware store did have solutions, but the offerings were bland and very expensive - at least 25 dollars each. The post bases came with the required hardware to mount to a surface, and to secure the wood post to the base. The surface mount bolts will work great for concrete, but you will need to get another type of bolt/screw for wood deck mounting etc. The post bases are heavy duty, and make a nice base. The design provides a little bit of accent to your environment. The black surface seems heavy duty. For example, one base fell out of the package and in the rocks. Not a single scratch or marking. I also like the drain holes in the bottom of the base. My previous patio cover did not have these - and surprise - the bottom part has rotted over the years. Pretty simple and straight forward - high quality and visually appealing. Also cheaper than big box stores. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThese look nicer than the standard black coated brackets to add a little decoration to our railing. Welds seem good, quality feels good, I havent owned long enough to speak to them withstanding the test of time and abuse of rain and snow. I will update this post if they fail prematurely.

> 3 dayI had to replace the newell post on my outdoor deck that leads to the stairs rail. The Insaga 4x4 post base was a stylish way to attach the new post to the deck while also protecting the base from wear. Sometimes we tie a leash around the base of the post for the dog to be outside. However, when she runs around, it eats away at the base of the wood post. The post base provides a protective cover for the post base. It was easy to install, seems to be durable and looks great!

> 3 dayTBH I didnt really know what to expect when I ordered these. This sort of item tends to be pretty hit or miss when ordering online...unless you can hold them, its hard to tell how sturdy they feel and if Id feel confident in trusting them to brace the feet of a structure such as a pergola, which is my intended purpose for these. While I havent actually installed these yet (building of the pergola starts this summer), I was so impressed by the beefiness of these that I wanted to give a bit of reassurance to those who might be on the fence like I was (pun intended, especially if youre thinking of using these on a fence).
