> 3 dayI anchored these into concrete to use as strong light poles/ DIY pergola. They are very heavy and do not bend or flex at all which is very nice. 100% worth the extra money to get some this high- quality.

> 3 dayOf the three options, this was the simplest design. So if that is what you want, this is good option. I like it. Simple elegance. The two interior photos attached, are to show the width from the outside and inside edges.

> 3 dayI was given the opportunity to review the INSAGA 4X4 Post Bases and all I can say is WOW! The item arrived within a couple days in a box that was quite heavy. I was confused as to what I ordered that was that heavy. Im mentioning this point because these decorative post bases are made of HEAVY DUTY , powder coated black, steel. Now that was a surprise, and a great surprise. AND, the are BEAUTIFUL! Look at the included pics and you will see how beautiful and what an upgrade to what I am currently using to support some 4X4 posts on my (very dirty) deck. These are going to be a beautiful compliment to my freestanding posts Im using on my deck. VERY PLEASED.

> 3 dayThese post bases are super heavy. The design is just too beautiful. These are very sturdy and will certainly serve its purpose. The material is a thick and heavy metal that wont rust and decay. Great buy!

> 3 dayThese are indeed heavy-duty steel, with a black powder coating. Im using these for several projects, the first being to mount a post on which to install part of my home weather station (rain gauge and thermometer/hygrometer). For this lightweight application, the included hardware is fine. For an installation where safety is important like a railing, I might be inclined to upgrade the screws to something longer/thicker, but your mileage may vary. The sides of the holder have an attractive shape at the top if you are looking for something that looks less industrial than some of the others on the market.

> 3 dayTBH I didnt really know what to expect when I ordered these. This sort of item tends to be pretty hit or miss when ordering online...unless you can hold them, its hard to tell how sturdy they feel and if Id feel confident in trusting them to brace the feet of a structure such as a pergola, which is my intended purpose for these. While I havent actually installed these yet (building of the pergola starts this summer), I was so impressed by the beefiness of these that I wanted to give a bit of reassurance to those who might be on the fence like I was (pun intended, especially if youre thinking of using these on a fence).

> 3 dayI was happy to come across these for a backyard project. They have a good heft and feel like they will be durable and weather, the weather.

> 3 dayThese post bases are SOLID !! They are made from thick gauge metal and have absolutely no flex to them. They are finished off with a black powder coat that looks good and will protect the underlying metal from rusting. I am impressed they came with wedge anchors as well as lag bolts to secure the 4x4’s to the post bases.

> 3 dayWe are using these to anchor the base 4 by 4s that we are using to support an entrance to a doorway for our back entrance .We have attached them to the concrete slab with lag bolts .They appear to be well made and the finish should hold up well in weather . Would highly recommend and the money spent is a good investment .
