I am upgrading from a 8700k so this chip isnt that big of an upgrade for me. Its fast, does what I need it to do. Out of the box no issues, no bent pins. CPU started up no issues

My first build with the 12th gen, so I went in with the intent of low cost. Paired with DDR4 on a modest MSI motherboard and cooled with the latest Noctua air cooler, I am impressed. Performance is a big step up from my 8700k in everything. Temps are very low, rarely going above 50C on the cores. In short, the 12600k is a great chip at a low price point.

UserBenchmark favors intel for some reason. They would have you believe the 12600k is around 20% better than the 5600x, but watch CPU reviews on Youtube and youll see individual gaming benchmarks puts them at the same performance but with the 5600x using half the power consumption. Additionally, the motherboards for the 12600k can cost over twice as much as that of the 5600x ones.
