Super awesome cpu! A lot of my friends nagged on me for not getting the “K” version but honestly if you dont plan to overclock your pc (i didnt) then this one will do great. Well exceeded what i expected

Terrific right out of the box. Great overclocker too! Just be sure you have superb CPU cooling. DO keep in mind that you need a Z370 series mothboard. These do not fit/work in Z170 and Z270 motherboards.

extreme performance

No matter what I do this CPU is the best. I do some light CAD and some gaming and I’ve never had an issue. Performance never dips. Can run on the hotter side, but still not as bad as the 7700K.

Loved it

Very good processor however when the CPU arrived the box looked damaged and screwed up. This could be because of delivery. Even though the box was screwed up the thankfully the processor was not damaged. The processor is very good at handling gaming and video rendering. The only let down was the box it came in because from looking at the box you would expect the processor to be damaged.

Honestly in my opinion amongst the best Intel processors out there. Amongst all the other i7s I believe this one is the most versatile for most computer builds.

This 8700k unclocked allows me to play ARK survival using a stock GTX 960 at 1080p and average 60 frames. I love it.
