The 8700K has 6 cores but 12 threads. This newer CPU is just a marketing gimmick by intel and is actually a disabled 8700K (no hyper-threading) with 2 more cores that add no value. The clock speed increase on a K series chip is meaningless and also a marketing gimmick due to the ability of everyone to overclock these K series chips and the fact that the specs are lies plus we always have overkill cooling.

Pagato circa 400€ è in assoluto il migliore processore in quella fascia. Consigliato solo a chi fa OverClock. Non è possibile sfruttarlo al massimo senza labbinamento di una buona scheda madre della serie z390, e almeno 16Gb di ram a 3200mhz.

The CPU works like a dream. Im only using 60% on average of the CPU when I was using 80-100% using the i5 7600k while gaming on high settings. Only reason why Im giving 3 stars is because when it was delivered, I asked for it to be placed at the back door which has cover. They placed it on the front steps while it was downpouring outside with nothing to cover it from the rain. Still works though, but wouldve been happier if it wasnt directly exposed to the rain.

Really pleased with this processor. This was installed with a Corsair liquid cooling system and everything seems to be working great.

I built two with this CPU processor last year about this time. Very happy with the speed this has starting up and shutting down, and running programs like nobody business. Im not a gamer, but I could play games with the video cards I put in on both of them - EVGA GeForce 1660 Super 6GB. I just wanted speed and no curser spinning. It was well worth the money using pcpartpicker.com, that way you know what works together. This Intel - Core i7-9700K 9th Generation 8-Core - 8-Thread 3.6 GHz (4.9 GHz Turbo) I use for my Computer Shop business and my home. No complaints here, love it.
