20-04-2025Have this hooked up to a Win 10 and CentOS box with a second hooked up directly to the Win 10 box for dual monitors. Works perfectly. Keyboard mouse is a wireless Logitech k330 and m215. Switches between the two and doesnt miss a beat. Have the second monitor switched so I can run both CentOS box and secondary Win 10 box each with one monitor. No glitches in any switching situations I can find. I avoided a slightly cheaper KVM that had lots of comments about switching glitches. Highly tecommend. Works as well as any high dollar one if used over the years. Only place where I would have to use something is if the share was between many servers and the mouse/keyboard, but thats a whole different world then. Pros are its tiny size, built in cables making install a snap, and rock solid performance. Cons are one tiny one - if the outputs were on the side, install would be neater, but Im almost ashamed to call that a con. If I do it over for some rrason, Ill definitely go with iogear and probably get one with a tiny a/b switch so I could hide the wires.

> 3 dayFirst boot up when connected to my desktop and laptop per the instructions the desktop crashed with a blue screen, and keyboard and mouse were non-operational on my laptop. Both running Windows 7. Second attempt nothing crashed but still could not get keyboard and mouse to function with my laptop. Checked their support page and documentation to confirm that I had followed proper procedure. Dont have the time to mess around with something that should be plug and play. Will be requesting a refund.

Greater than one weekThis device allowed me to seamlessly integrate a work issued computer into my home computer setup. I was able to share my keyboard, monitor, and mouse between both computers. Switching between computer systems is as easy as pressing one button. You can switch between computers rapidly. The construction of the device is quite good. Cables are sturdy and thick. My only wish is that it had a DVI port instead of a VGA port so I could take advantage of the digital input on my monitor on both computers...

Greater than one weekIm only half-competent with software but even I was able to hook up the monitor, keyboard and mouse and connect this to my two desktops. It worked perfectly right away to switch between the two.

> 3 dayNice VGA KVM switch reliable small footprint, sturdy wires. Overall a good value. Why do I like this item? No software to install, this is a electronic switch press a button on the top of the switch and your Keyboard, Mouse, and Video are switched from one Computer to Another. I use a Mac & PC and it works well switching between the two, the only challenge is on the PC where the video has to be on the PC during Boot-up so that it sets the resolution to the screen instead of a default value. But its a minor issue. Setup is nice. 2 Video cables with a USB integrated into the video is provided connect the 1 of each of the video cables to each PC and the video cable from the existing monitor along with keyboard and mouse to the Switch and your all set, Love the fact that there is no software installation required. Had a Belkin switch that required software or had a very flimsy switch that broke inside 2 weeks (paper thin wires) and it was a pain and the switching was inconsistent and slow. This is quite fast (under 5 seconds for it to recognize the keyboard/mouse, video is much less) I also have a 4 usb hub for a pen-tablet and printer, all switch without a problem. Have been using this for almost a month now and I am very satisfied.
