> 3 dayBe careful folks. Ive been using them for years. It worked. But their upgrades and installs are risky. Had this problem before, I just installed it on a new dell windows 10 computer. It crashed for no reason. On restart some loading program ran out of control, couldnt stop it. It used up all my CPU. Tried to un-install. No luck. There is no customer support either. Im rebuilding and looking for a replacement. Any ideas?

> 3 dayI use System Mechanic on one computer and Tune Up Utilities on another. They are both good, but I prefer Tune Up Utilities.

> 3 dayIt says it fixed 4000 issues and the computer is just as slow, it has a problem updating. Im still working with it trying to resolve that problem, I just installed it a few days ago and have not noticed a big difference.

Greater than one weekit did not keep virus off my lap top as good as other virus protectors so fo that I took it off my lap topit may be good for other things that I will look into but not as a virus protector..

> 3 dayThe web site said there would be a CD, well no CD inside and I don not like downloading products. Bad experience with orders on Amazon lately more money for prime and bad delivery on items.

> 3 dayHad used it in the best with good results but dropped it when I got a new computer back aways. Now that the then-new/now-old computer has gotten painfully slow, I paid for and downloaded System Mechanic-Pro. I couldn t get it to load, so called Tech Support and was told no problem, hook them up for remote access and that have me running faster in no time. Once he had taken over my computer, however, the support person started doing all sorts of things that I couldnt even follow on the screen and commenced to tell me about the other products that I needed. I asked him to ust get the program to do what IT was supposed to do, but, as my computer continued to go wild, threatened to terminate the call if I didnt buy the additional products. I hung up and, since my computer would no longer work at all, went to my wifes computer and requested a refund. I also complained directly to the manufacturer of the program and asked for some help getting the malicious System Mechanic-Pro off my computer. He suggested standard methods that Id already tried and said someone would get back to me to help me further. That hasnt happened yet, but I was able to go to a malware program and finally get rid of the mess that the support: guy made and to delete System Mechanic-Pro and at least the computer is running again. Slowly, but at least it is running.

> 3 dayWatch out for your $$$!! Basic System Mechanic at $39.95 has a surprise ongoing billing of $19.95/mo for tech support - so you are signing up to spend over $259/yr. It also has continual pop-ups to sell you anti-virus (even though I use Norton), VPN and ID protection add-ons plus it tries to get you to add tech support even though its already there. The software does work to clean memory, etc. but BE AWARE of their efforts to get more of your $$$.

> 3 dayI have used this software before and what I discovered is that it will make a computer with a defective HD crash. HP laptops tend to have defective HD and noticed that on my good laptop it ran fine, worked great, but on my HP laptop it would crash when running this software. It turned out to be a defective HD and thankfully it was under extended warranty.
