If you put this on the bottom glass of terrarium you need a thermostat. It heats up the area placed 126 degrees F.

Heating pad does not get warm at all! Was sent a replacement and the second did not get warm either! My poor gecko has been without a warm sauce of her tank for almost a week !

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to the exo terra heat mat. This heated unevenly and had big sections which did not heat at all. Returning and quite unhappy with it.
