IQIKU HDMI Adapter for WII with HDMI Cable

I bought a new Roku TV and it didnt have the red yellow and white input to connect my Wii. This did the trick.

For convenience more than display quality. It will only take the Wii from 480i to 480p, but that’s not what got me to order this product. I wanted to be able to use an HDMI cable on an old system and this did the trick. The bonus HDMI cable makes this a great buy! The graphics are fine, but it’s still a Wii with limited picture quality. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play an old system on a newer TV. Happy reviewer!

Easy to use and works well. Just plug it in and set Wii to 480p.

This is a must have if you want to play a wii on a modern TV. It works great and keeps the cords simple by making the wii port an HDMI port. It also came with the HDMI cord.

Our Wii was not being used since our TV system did not have a composite video connection. We were missing some of our old favorite games and this adapter has allowed the mariokarts to race again!! Setup is simple - plug in and go! Can improve video performance by going into Wii setting and selecting 480p instead of 480i Note the Wii is limited in video resolution so no adapter is going to turn Mario into a 4K HDR 120Hz player on the Wii - but video picture quality is fine. The adapter does have an audio out port beside the HDMI but I didnt use it - the audio worked perfectly over the HDMI cable. Recommended for simple Wii setup to HDMI video or receiver systems.

It works and everything, but you have to connect the sound externally. If it wasnt for that, Id give it 5 stars.

We recently bought a new TV for our son since his stopped working. He has the Wii still and plays it all the time. I didn’t realize that new TVs didn’t have a place for the RCA cables to connect and did’t even think to check. We went to several different places looking for a connector that would work but no one had what we needed. I about gave up when I saw this on Amazon and bought it right away. It was so easy to install and works great. Picture is better then before for sure. I thought we were going to have to get rid of the Wii or buy a used tv just so he could continue to play the Wii. It worked on my Samsung Smart TV, the picture quality is about as good as youd expect from a Wii. The audio jack is optional, if you only use the HDMI then the sound will play through the TV like normal, in case you were worried about that.

Ive had a Wii sitting in a cabinet for probably five years now since we got rid of our last CRT television and found it recently. I went to hook it up and realized the new TV only has HDMI inputs. I went ahead and ordered this and hooked it up. Note, it is very important in the Wii to set the resolution to 480p or you will get glitches and freezes. Newer 4K TVs certainly reveal the limitations of the Wiis graphics but its quite fun to crack out a nearly 20 year old game system and revisit Super Mario Brothers and Lego Indiana Jones. For a sub 10 dollar investment, you cannot go wrong if you have a working Wii and a newer TV.
