Definitely a good buy. Study, functional, and relatively easy to set up. Its worth the money if you are a serious painter.

This was easy to assemble, sturdy, and not too heavy to move. I am short (5’2”) and am able to set it on a table and comfortably stand to paint. I could sit and paint however if the canvas was larger it would be difficult to reach the top. I use it for watercolor and while it does not adjust to perfectly flat I have found that the 20 degree angle that I can adjust it to it just fine. I do have to reach a bit to get to the top of a 20x16” sheet. Bottom line, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Rarely does an item exceed expectations but this one did. It’s sturdy and a bit heavy but not so heavy it’s difficult to take with you if needed. It folds into an easy to manage size. I love that it can be used on different height tables. By adjusting the bottom canvas holder you can position the canvas at eye level. Even a large canvas feels secure. The Lyptus wood is sturdy and nice looking. When putting it together be sure to remove the top canvas holder from the mast. It is installed backwards for ease of packing and it confused me briefly. It took five minutes to assemble. Thoughtful detail and an excellent price point for what you get.

I am a professional artist and I work in both paint and pastels. I wanted an easel that could hold both my drawing board or a canvas. I also work on large scale canvases and I needed a table easel that could hold large canvases. This one does it all. It is super sturdy, with a wide base. It has a grove in both the lower and upper shelves for a drawing board and little plastic bump pieces to hold a canvas in place without the lip edge of the shelf covering the edge of the canvas. The lower shelf adjusts upward which is a game changer and makes it so much easier to move my work up to eye level. If you work on a table surface like me and need to spread out all your tools this is your easel. You won’t regret buying it. It also doesn’t slide across the easel when I place pressure on the canvas/board while working. The best investment.

Love this table easel. Relatively small footprint with a 40” high canvas capacity is fantastic for those who don’t have the space for a floor easel. Side adjustment knobs work great to adjust the angle of the canvas, and everything works smoothly. Highly recommend.

Its the perfect size for what I need. The bottom, (along with the top) canvas holders can be raised up, unlike most tabletop easels, and the plastic stops on the top and bottom keep your full canvas workable--in other words, you dont lose about an overlapping quarter inch off your canvas tucked inside the top and bottom canvas holders. Its a little pricey, but if you love painting, I highly recommend it.
