Jack Richeson Lyptus Wood Table Top Easel

Its the perfect size for what I need. The bottom, (along with the top) canvas holders can be raised up, unlike most tabletop easels, and the plastic stops on the top and bottom keep your full canvas workable--in other words, you dont lose about an overlapping quarter inch off your canvas tucked inside the top and bottom canvas holders. Its a little pricey, but if you love painting, I highly recommend it.

Id been looking for a quality easel for the table top, and Richesons are the best. I love the lyptus wood and it matches the brush holder I have from them of the same wood. Wonderful addition to my studio.

Rarely does an item exceed expectations but this one did. It’s sturdy and a bit heavy but not so heavy it’s difficult to take with you if needed. It folds into an easy to manage size. I love that it can be used on different height tables. By adjusting the bottom canvas holder you can position the canvas at eye level. Even a large canvas feels secure. The Lyptus wood is sturdy and nice looking. When putting it together be sure to remove the top canvas holder from the mast. It is installed backwards for ease of packing and it confused me briefly. It took five minutes to assemble. Thoughtful detail and an excellent price point for what you get.

If youre in need of a sturdy table-top easel, I highly recommend this. Ive been looking for an adjustable table-top easel--one that isnt flimsy, one that easily converts from an upright angle to laying flat and anywhere in between--and this meets all my needs! And at about half the price of similar easels Ive found at art supply places. Ive gotten used to finding shoddy quality products through Amazon, so I was pleasantly surprised to find someone still offers solid quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price. It is a well-thought out easel design. This easel is built to last. It arrived quickly. It was packaged well in 3 main pieces and easy directions to quickly assemble (all you need is a phillips screwdriver). It has comfortable knobs you easily loosen/tighten to get desired angle (no metal wingnuts!) It easily supports my plywood board on which I stretch my watercolor paper.

Everything about this product is top notch. Very well thought out easel. Adjust easily, nice weight, quality design and love the wood choice. Arrived on time and packaged well, simple assembly.

I have tried many different easels. Some would be hard to adjust the height, others wouldnt hold my canvas securely, always something that I would change. This is the perfect easel. Easily adjusts the height with the knob in the front, I hated reaching around to the back to make adjustments. It is so nice I dont want to get paint on it. Easy to use and to assemble. Its sturdy, attractive, and functional. Worth every penny. If I add up all the $25 and $35 easels I purchased prior to this I probably could have purchased 2 of these and saved myself money. You get what you pay for in this case.

If your reading this your more than likely looking for an easel. I just got this one 4 days ago and Ive already used it for 2 paintings.... I absolutely love it. I am going to buy one for my wife also. It is very solid and sturdy. You can adjust it to huge canvases or small ones. I just used it for 18x24 canvas. If you read reviews to help you decide then trust me this is the one.
