Ive never used a dye that works as well as Jacquard acid dye did! The color came out so dark and just like the picture. Unfortunately, I was trying to get a duller purple and this dye completely blocked out the other color, but I cant blame the company for making a product that works TOO well! Will definitely purchase this dye again!

Tried using it on my daughters cotton jedi tunic. I followed the instructions to the letter and made sure the dye desolved, it only turned a super light blue and spots of darker blue.

Excellent dye, even for beginners. This is the first time I have dyed a piece of knitwear. I followed the instructions on the dye container, and my project came out perfect. Brilliant blue was the color I chose, to dye a wool/angora shawl with red beads I had just completed. The yarn was undyed, (off-white) and I didn’t like how it looked with my skin tone. I read all the reviews and decided to try my luck. I let the shawl soak in clear cold water for about 45 min, since wool needs time for moisture to penetrate the fibers. Dissolved the dye powder in water, making sure it was completely dissolved, then added the shawl to the dye pot, after pressing out most of the water. Handling the shawl very carefully, so as not to felt it. I heated the dye bath to 180F, then added vinegar. I maintained the temperature for about 35 min. stirring the shawl carefully and gently every so often to make sure the dye penetrated everything. Afterwards I dumped the fluid and let the shawl cool down to room temp, then rinsed it until the water ran clear. After that I put the shawl with water into a tub, added a big splash of hair conditioner and let it sit for 30 min, then rinsed the conditioner out. Done. While whet, the color looked darker blue and I was worried I had let the shawl sit in the dye for too long, but as it dried it lightened to a beautiful royal blue. No felting, no shrinking. The red beads didn’t take on any color and add a bit of a color pop. Very happy with the color I achieved. Will definitely buy this brand of dye again if I need to dye something else.

I unscrewed the lid and there was no white seal which is always there so unsure if all the contents was there.

Waste of money, dyed rug a dark purple and t-shirts a light purple. Would have been better off just buying a burgundy rug. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

This red is not a true red once it is dry it turns a brick red brownish very ugly color in my opinion. If you are looking for a bright red do not purchase this color.
