Jacquard Acid Dye - Pink - 1/2 Oz Net Wt - Acid Dye for Wool - Silk - Feathers - and Nylons - Brilliant Colorfast and Highly Concentrated

I wanted to turn a pair of off-white compression leggings into a nice red, and after a lot of looking I decided to go with scarlet. This shade of red was exactly what I wanted, but after numerous washings they still bleed like a proverbial stuck pig, so I have to hand wash them separately. A minor inconvenience, but I also dyed these same leggings with jet black, and they did not bleed after the initial wash. Hopefully, the bleeding will soon abate so I dont end up with pink leggings.

Dying wool for needle felting and these dyes make it so easy to get beautiful colors without a lot of work or mess

Its a bit more of a blue than a purple so always test your colors on a paper towel or less expensive yarn. But I love the acid dyes. They look so professional. And im having a blast using them. I started with the .5 oz jars. Ill replace them with the bigger ones when Im running low. But the .5 oz still go a long way. Shipping was fast and there were no issues.

Dyeing is not for beginners. They warned me to not dye a wedding dress (if I dont care what happens then dye it, otherwise if its valuable, then do NOT dye) & I did for a Halloween costume. I burnt some of the fabric & a front loader is a little more complicated. 1/2 of it is pink but the under-skirting & the back are white. I did ruin it but I think I can still use it but is nothing like what I anticipated. They warned me & they were right. Live & earn. I believe my oversized washer is still not big enough to hold all of the dress to properly spin it & the way it went in, it dyed that.

Always great colors, fully saturated and pricing that allows me to indulge my crafting without you much guilt.

Did stayed in nylon fabric works well.
