> 24 hourThese dyes work well. Follow the instructions- you MUST use soda ash if you want good results. My advice is to use less dye than they have written on the instructions. The color is very dark and bold if you follow the instructions- I would have liked it better to use 1/3rd less dye in the ratio of dye to water. I wanted colors that were a bit more soft and pleasant. The turquoise is so dark if you use the ratio written on the instructions- if you want a nice aqua color then use less dye.

> 24 hourGreat little kit but needs more of the pre soak salt mix to keep up with the amount of dye sold in the kit. The kids had a blast making tie dye shirts, wash cloths and pillows with me.

> 24 hourThis is a great little kit for getting started ice dying. I was able to dye 2 shirts and a large piece of fabric and I still have a lot of dye and the soaking medium left. The colors turned out vibrant and they seem to hold true through multiple washes.

> 24 hourWhy does the description say Can mix the colors to achieve any color desired if when I look up ANY of the colors I want to create, I need totally different colors none of which are in this set? I bought this 4 pack because I expected to be able to mix the colors to achieve any color desired. Im sure the dye is great, but I cant use it. I wanted the quality of Jacquard, but I would have been better off buying one bottle of RIT dye in a color that I wanted. I feel deceived. UPDATE: For those of us not familiar with the CMYK color model (most people learned primary red, blue, yellow color wheels) I have found this great article on how to mix the Procion colors. [...] I wish the customer service at Jacquard was able to give me this advice. Instead I got this (completely wrong and misleading) message from them: The colors in the set are the 3 Primary colors + black. With these, in various combinations and quantities all colors can be made. Blue + red = purple Blue + yellow = green Red + yellow = Orange Etc. Best Regards- Jacquard Customer Service 800-442-0455 [...]
