Very good sound quality for the price. Exceptional value. Design looks modern and neat especially the ones in white.

These sound incredible. They sound just as good as they look. Probably the best bang for your buck you can get. Hard to find budget speakers that both look good an perform.

When bought on sale this is a hard speaker set to beat for the price, great sound for a HT on a budget. Add a subwoofer, run your HT speaker setup and enjoy great HT sound on a budget. 11 out of 10 would buy over a soundbar.

Let me start by saying that I dont consider myself an audiophile. Im just a guy who can tell the difference between this speaker and that one. My Andrew Jones Pioneers were darn good especially for the price. People described them as warm and neutral sounding. Yeah, I agree with that. Along the way I picked up some JBL Loft 40s for my desk. They had a really good amount of low end for their size, and they too sounded warm. In fact Id dare to say they sound a lot like the Pioneers. Now onto the fun stuff. These little beauties sound as good as they look. I ran them without a sub and holy wow was I impressed at the amount of bass that the S803s were pumping out. They sound clean, and it sounds stupid but i felt as if the music and movies that I tested really jumped out at me, as if the speakers were closer than they really were. I liked it. The center and the surrounds are matched and good for HT, but they lack low end. Thankfully we all own subs (if you dont you should really pause right here and focus on that first. Also, SVS. Youre welcome). At this point Ive seen all of the reviews on the internet and Im going to side with Z reviews. He nailed it. Sure, there might be trickery at work here with how good these sound, but I dont really care. My ears are over the moon. In the pictures you can see the S801 is around the same size as the JBL Loft 40. The S803s are quite a bit larger in every dimension. Youll also notice the add on ATM 8 atmos module. Those werent included in this set, I was just trying to show how they all look together (theyre also a must buy IMO, but this review isnt about them). Im in the middle of moving so I put the center and surrounds back in the box. For now Im going to spoil myself with the front LR+heights only. For the price of this set youre not going to find better speakers.

Excellent and bright. An upgrade from entry level 5 surround but needs the addition of a subwoofer. Good transparency and separation.

Just great. For the price and the sound you get is simply unbeatable. Replaced my nearly 15 year old bose cube 5.1 speakers and am loving these with no regret so far. Have a set up in my garage with a 12inch sub hanging from the middle. Have not even hooked up the center (pretty large) speaker yet and only running the 4 corners. They can Boom all on their own. Dialed in just enough highs-treble and should have replaced the bose cubes sooner. Just Buy These Already. Took two weeks but all good!

I cant find fault on these speakers!! Excellent bass and treble , okay mids, but still needs a sub to hit every note in the audible spectrum. I doubt if theres a better 5 speaker set in its price range.

Don’t let the pictures fool you, these are not small. For reference, the tv in the background is a 65 inch lg c2. The current bookshelf speakers are 13 inches tall and 8lbs. The jamo 801 (rear speakers) are the same size. The jamo 803s are literally almost twice as big as the current speakers. (Very deep, over 8 inches deep and almost 12 lbs and 14 inches tall.) These are very clean crisp speakers. The best thing is the looks in my opinion. However the sound for the price is nothing to scoff at. These are a bargain. I would recommend these to anyone needing a 5.0 setup. These need a subwoofer to extract the full potential but at $150 for the s808 subwoofer. You are less than $400 for a whole 5.1 with proper sized bookshelf speakers and center channel.

Using these in a 5.1 system through a Marantz 1510. I find the sound to be a bit bassier then I prefer it, but to each his own. The center speaker is also a little muffy at the 2.5 range, which is weird since that exactly what its supposed to be projecting... I had to turn off Audyssey, and do manual EQ, boosting the center speaker up 3db to get clear vocals. Perhaps I just have a dud center speaker, but I found this to be uncharacteristic for a center speaker sold as part of a 5.1 system. With that said, I have no complaints about the rest of the setup, and as affordable as these are vs sound quality, I would buy them again. Perhaps just with a different center speaker.

Base is deep and rich. Highs are clear, but the kids are dull and muted. This is definitely a v shaped sound. Great 5.1 system for movies but you lose some dynamics listening to music. Overall, fantastic speakers for the money. Just wish there was a little more mid.
