This pretty, floral backpack is perfect for a college student. It has padded straps, it’s sturdy, and roomy. It will hold those large, heavy textbooks and a computer.

If you are looking for a sturdy backpack that I large enough to avoid being too heavy in your back and shoulders (granted you don’t stuff it till it’s busting) and big enough to have space and room for things, then this is for you. It has multiple pockets and compartments making it simple to store notebooks, a laptop, essential items like wallet and keys, etc. The straps are adjustable too. It works great for school!

Ive always recognized the JanSport backpacks as good quality because they are strong, cary heavy books well and repel the water well too. I bought this one here to replace the one that Ive been using since my senior year in high school back in 93 which literally looked worn out and faded from its original navy blue color but still carried books well. The difference in this back pack to the one from 93 is that it has many more extra bags or spaces which I use for my 13 laptop and its power cord, a small speaker, small first aid kit, my reading and sun glasses, small note pads and many pens and markers. Ive only had it for four months but think it will last for years like the one from 1993.

We had ordered another backpack prior to ordering this. It looked great, but was too small. I chose this backpack by reviews and reputation. We ordered the black and the insides are white which was a bad choice in my opinion The interior is this and does not have great pencil etc storage like his previous backpacks. It seems to have a laptop pouch with no protection. The zippers are a bit awkward as other reviews have stated. It is a lot to do with the covering lip that goes over them which is great for protection, but may not be great for kids who get material caught in zippers. It is a bit smaller than I thought, but does hold my sons 2 inch binder a lot of previous backpacks do not have a wide enough opening so this was a plus. My older son came home with the same backpack that was black, but white on the front. It was dirty looking on the white he said it does not clean well, but he has a few years and somewhat happy with it. My biggest complaint at this time would be the white thin inside material just why would you do this and it needs to be more obvious that it has white inside. It reminds me of an old cheap purse lining. I imagine it will show pen marks etc and be hard to clean stains, but we will see. The handle on the top is so so and comfort padding for straps and back seem somewhat lacking. He has only carried a couple of weeks so I will try to remember to update this review.

I got this backpack for my 6th grader. It has plenty of pockets and very spacious.

The product came well packaged and in perfect condition. No flaws. It took me a long time to decide on a good backpack for vet tech school, and I’m really happy I went with this one! It’s roomy, but not overly huge. The quality of the fabric is good. I love the leather detail on the bottom. It has a good variety of pockets/compartments as well, and I love the water bottle holder on the side. My one tiny little “complaint”. Is that the zippers are covered by a little extra “flap” of fabric. I’m not sure what purpose this serves (like if it’s a cosmetic thing or if there’s a functional reason for it), but I find that they kind of get in the way. I’ve never gotten the zipper stuck on it, but I have to sort of fold it over itself before unzipping or zipping it back up to avoid that happening. It’s just a minor thing. I am still overall happy with my purchase, but thought I would mention it!

My daughter just bought for her last two years of high school. She loves Jansport bags and she gets a new one about ever two years.

Quality product for years, this one was no exception. Standing up well to an abusive teenager.

The bag is a great size for my high school student who carries all his binders with him during the day and doesn’t use a locker. I bought him black so it would not show a lot of dirt or stains. When I opened it up, I discovered the lining is white in all pockets. I can see how it could be useful when you are looking for items. However, this bag is for a teenager and I am expecting the liner to look gross in a matter of a day or two. I will keep it because our delivery time was already delayed and his other bag is broken. I trust Jansport as a quality brand but I am not on board with white liners!
