> 3 dayMy son really wanted this backpack so we purchased just before the start of school. Didn’t even last 4 months. The top of the one strap started to rip out of the backpack. We have had several Jansport backpacks over the years that have held up great. Not sure if this was just a bad one of if their quality has gone down.

> 3 dayThis item will do in a pinch. Color is nice but the bottom is not suede and I doubt if it will hold up as genuine suede would. Will keep because I needed something for travel ASAP.

> 3 dayThis is a great back pack. The only thing not liked is the flaps that cover the zippers. They serve a purpose but also get caught in the zippers.

> 3 dayIve always recognized the JanSport backpacks as good quality because they are strong, cary heavy books well and repel the water well too. I bought this one here to replace the one that Ive been using since my senior year in high school back in 93 which literally looked worn out and faded from its original navy blue color but still carried books well. The difference in this back pack to the one from 93 is that it has many more extra bags or spaces which I use for my 13 laptop and its power cord, a small speaker, small first aid kit, my reading and sun glasses, small note pads and many pens and markers. Ive only had it for four months but think it will last for years like the one from 1993.
