Out of the 3 silicone pads I have, I prefer this one for every job thats come up. The compartments with folding tops are very appealing. They wont take an aggressive drop, but theres no anxiety about minor elbow bumps or the cat walking across. Great value for the money. Well molded. Quality product.

This is a perfect matt for all kinds of small projects whether it be small repairs or soldering electronics. It can take the heat and oils, paints, and glues wipe right off days later without staining. Plenty of small trays for small parts and the built in measuring stick comes in handy but the magnetic trays are not quite as strong as I would like but they get the job done.

Convenient work surface.

Ive been tinkering and repairing devices with small parts/screws for a good number of years. If I remembered and wasnt in a hurry, Id typically use a towel to work over to avoid the cursed parts bounce to the floor. If the floor had a rug or carpet on it, and the parts were small, itd become a drawn-out affair trying to find it. This mat came to me rolled up, but flattened out nicely. I like the options for tool and parts storage/organizing while working. I definitely recommend this mat for anyone working on items where you are needing to keep track of parts either for replacement or just to keep from losing them.

Its a good mat. Plenty of room to work on, lots of built in sections to sorts your screws, etc. Had some solder splashes on it, couldnt tell when I cleaned them off. So its a thumbs up.

Edit - The mat has been so useful I just ordered three more to expand my work areas. Theyre also great for crafters making jewelry or small art projects. I wish Id bought one of these long ago. Excellent quality mat, good size. Resists burns from soldering iron. Lots of little cubby holes to keep parts from getting scattered around. Highly recommended.
