> 24 hourTerrible!!!! My ipad has never been the same since installing this screen. With this screen installation it has given my ipad a mind of its own. Some parts of the screen is not sensative to touch. So I cannot use some of my apps effectively. Other times the screen will click on something I didnt even click on. I was better off with my cracked up original screen that came with my ipad.

> 24 hourAdhesive is not overly sticky, but seems adequate for the application. Touch pad works well. After 3 months, the digitizer no longer works, types misc characters, switches screens, not responsive at all. Needs to be replaced

> 24 hourThis fixed completely my kids iPad. After my son (2 years old) decided to stand on the old screen, I needed a cheap fix. This worked great. Works like new now.

> 24 hourFirst time replacing an iPad screen My original screen was difficult to remove because of so many cracks. Once clean, the new installed fine. I had some issues with the adhesive by the connections on the right side of the iPad. Small tool pack worked great. Recommend using some heat to help with the adheasive. Overall the quality is great. I do have one dead touch spot on the upper left of the screen, and the seller quickly responded and is sending a replacement.

> 24 hourI had been putting off replacing my digitizer and I finally did it. It was a pretty easy process, directions were included. My screen had shattered don’t was a bit of a bear to remove the old one. The tools that came with the product are pretty light. I had better luck using the flat screw driver that came with it to get in under the screen to get started. It could be I had to do that because my screen was so broken. If the screen wasn’t shattered and just not working, swapping them would have been a different experience. When replacing make sure you test the screen responsiveness over the whole screen. I tested that I could unlock it and and power down but when I got done the lower two rows didn’t work. Luckily I hadn’t pressed the screen down and was able to pull it back up to try to reseat the ribbon cables which fix it. I found online if you make your icons jiggle and grab one and try to drag it all over the screen, to all four corners, that’s the best way to check the whole screen is working. The directions don’t mention that their is a plastic film on the under side of the screen. I almost didn’t take it off because it didnt say to, I thought it might just be the way the back of it was held together, but both the back and front have protective covers. I was worried about cheap/bad adhesion. I found online the suggestion of heating the new screen to soften the tape just like you do to remove it. I heated it back up and turned it upside down and stacked a bunch of books on it for the night. Makes sense and seems like a good idea to do. When the screen is not on you can see a bunch of horizontal lines, maybe every 1/4”. At first I was disappointed but when the screen is on you can’t see them unless the light is hitting it just right, but really its a non-issue. Over all very happy so far. It was a reasonable price to bring an older iPad back to life.
