KAVU Rope Bag - Sling Pack for Hiking, Camping, and Commuting

This is my everyday bag! It holds so much stuff! It’s comfortable to carry on my shoulder, it doesn’t weigh you down, and it lasts forever!!! I have 3 of these bags in several colors and patterns !!! Love the ease of carrying them and everything fits in them without any issues

This bag holds much more than it looks like it can! I have used it as a diaper bag for my 6 month old since she was born. We cloth diaper so I need space. It regularly holds 3 prefold diapers, 1 diaper cover, a huggies travel wipe container, a extra outfit, a medium wet bag, teething toy, a nursing cover or light muslin blanket, a Gerber diaper for wiping up drool, my smart phone, hand sanitizer, chapstick, extra nursing pads, and my large hobo leather wallet. Easy to carry and doesnt look like a diaper bag! I also often wrap my baby on front and can still wear the bag with the strap extended all the way out and crossing under her bottom. Very well made. I have washed it once and it shows no sign of wear. Love this bag!

I like the design. It had a lot of space. What I dont like is that it picks up EVERYTHING. I know black shows hair and dirt etc but as you can see from the pictures its an insane amount. The fact that you can brush up against something and end up with a white spot on the bag drives me nuts. Ive used this bag for 3 days and it looks like its worn out and old.The only places Ive taken it is shopping. All that dirt and hair are from that. If I had not thrown out the tags I would have returned it for a different color. Avoid the solid dark colors!

The bag is way bigger than I expected. The quality is nice. just too large for the everyday use I was hoping for.

Favorite Feature You Might Overlook: elastic band to roll up/contain excess strap length! Its a pretty minute feature but a thought one. It makes for a tidier look and makes the bag that much more unobstructive. I love this bag and receive compliments on it all the time. It is comfortable to wear strapped across the front or back and frees up hands nicely. I finally caved in and purchased a new slingbag since I broke my foot, take my dog to work to me every day, and was trying to juggle everything and an unwieldy pair of crutches. This is a super convenient style bag in general but this is my favorite sling bag Ive owned to date. The pattern is super cute! Very sturdy material and construction seems wonderful. Looking forward to getting lots of wear out of this bag.

Awkward shape for what I wanted it for but was heavier than my current lunch backpack.. But still a beautiful sling bag just not for me!

this is my diaper bag, my disney world bag, my purse, my carry on, and so much more! i love that the front zipper pocket fits my my phone for easy access and the velcro pocket is perfect for my chapstick and hand sani. when i’m out and about with my two toddlers this bag holds my things PLUS a couple diapers, some toys, their water cups, and there’s still room! i used it while at disney and universal and it was comfy and lightweight for all day walking. as a carry on i was able to keep a book, some snacks, and more in my sling and it was still comfy to carry. i love how lightweight and durable these bags are all at the same time. i’ve given up on purses and diaper bags and now i just use a kavu!

I love the bag itself but the color is way off from what I thought I was receiving.

I love KAVU bags and this is no exception. I did take one star away from this particular purchase because when it arrived the stitching at the very top (close to the ropes) was not holding the canvas together completely and I had to fix it a bit. Not a deal breaker as it was just a tiny cosmetic issue. Every other bag Ive gotten online or from their store in Seattle was perfect. The space in this bag is exactly what I need for everyday use or for taking on a summer outing. This blue color is beautiful. I have noticed it shows any spot, while my previous (tree/cardinal patterned) bag did not show tiny spots. Not a big deal unless that bothers you and then I would go with a lighter or patterned print.

I love the fact that my bag is sturdy, holds a lot, and the cell phone pocket in front is ideal for grabbing it whenever you need it. The adjustable straps are very comfortable as well.
