KAVU Rope Bag - Sling Pack for Hiking, Camping, and Commuting

It is very stiff and doesn’t have the quality I expected. Not sure how to put my finger on it. I didn’t expect it to look like it came from China and it does. Hoping with some wear it will relax.

I bought the snowscape pattern as a birthday present for myself. I love the vivid colors, the sturdy fabric and the style of the bag. And it was the perfect bag for exploring the Pyongchang Ski resort (where the 2018 Olympics were held). It was truly Klear Above Visibility Unlimited. My birthday trip was a mountain-top experience and this bag was the perfect accessory!

I really like this bag. Attractive, durable, lightweight. I wish it was an inch wider, to fit my 8 1/2 x 11 planner. And Id like some holders, pen loops, and other item storage features in the pockets. There is not a single one -- a big miss.

The canvas used in these bags is super high quality without being overly hard/rigid. Its standing up well to the test of time, having used one for about 18 months. Pros - High quality fabric. Its very durable and has lasted for about 18 months without issues. - Pocket size and placement. It has a very good layout and the pockets are solid and reinforced with extra stitching. Cons - The rope strap is a design/style choice that might not appeal to everyone Its a great purse and you cant go wrong, especially at the price.

Absolutely love this bag!! Pocket are decent sized. Love that the zippers are kind of hidden and the pattern isn’t offset by it. Will probably buy a few more in different prints. The clasp for the strap is the best part. Easy clasp get putting on or taking off.

Travelled for 2 weeks in Italy and wore this sling bag every single day. Great for hiking Cinque Terre, exploring ruins of the Roman Forum and Rome’s ancient Colosseum, and shopping. Excellent quality. Perfect size. Can wear front, back, or side. My daughter has used a Kavu bag for years on all outings with her kids — whether grocery store or beach. I highly recommend.

I have a bad back and this really helps. It distributes the weight evenly and I really feel like I’m not carrying anything. They have thought of everything. I love it! I like all the pockets as well.

I love this bag! It is not big, but not super small either. I was able to fit a considerable amount in the bag. I was actually surprised at what fit. In the bottom front pocket (larger pocket) I was able to fit an iPhone X and the charger and adapter. I also was curious to see how much would fit and I successfully fit a MacBook charger and the adapter, an Apple Watch charger as well as an iPhone charger and the adapter and had no problem closing the zipper. The top pocket fit AirPods Pro, barrettes and a few hair ties and my car key. The main pocket was able to hold deodorant, a bottle of ibuprofen, a small first aid kit, a small makeup bag, a pair of leggings a pair of capris, a small wallet, a t- shirt and a pair of sandals. The only reason I wrote such a detailed review is for the people like me who were on the fence about the size of the bag. I read so many reviews and was still skeptical but just took a chance. I’m glad I did. Also, it is comfortable to wear.
