Kaytee Clean & Cozy Natural Small Animal Pet Bedding 24.6 Liters

I love this product and buy it regularly for our guinea pig. I do not understand why the price fluctuates TREMENDOUSLY and can range so greatly from one purchase to another. But if its not at the high peak of price, I will buy it. It stays fresh and we compost it when we clean his cage.

Great odor prevention

The listing for Clean & Cozy Natural Bedding is terribly misleading. The listing and picture claim it is 4934 cu in, which is actually the UNCOMPRESSED volume and is priced at $22.99. The product Dimensions (listed under Featues and Details), however, are 15x16x5.5”, which indicates that the product’s COMPRESSED volume is smaller than the 1728 cu in (compressed) product, which expands to 5875 cu in and is priced at $15.29.

I got this to use in our bunny potty boxes. I like that it is compacted in the bag so you actually get more out of it than you would think. I think it does a reasonably good job of keeping the bunny pee smell down untill cleaning time.

Leela loves this bedding, but this color is not dark brown. Very very light.

This bedding is great for value and for my chinchilla. It hold the odor and waste well and it does not have a lot of dust. It is also dye free which I appreciate for my pet. He enjoys digging in it and it seems comfortable on his paws.

Ive used a few other brands and this one is the best! Nice and soft and doesnt get too smelly!

The worst bedding I have ever bought…. Smells horrible in 3 days

It’s paper, what does paper do when it gets wet! I don’t know why I tried this product? It’s like cleaning a cat litter box. Kinda nasty. Need a scoop or hand shovel to clean it up! But it has lasted longer than other products I’ve tried. It makes a nice back up product if you can’t get nothing else at the time!

This stuff is nice if you cant afford carefresh. I like that this product is very cozy and soft, more than carefresh. However, it does not absorb much at all. The amount of time between cage cleanings is much shorter with this product. I have two guinea pigs and a mouse. The guinea pigs have sensitive feet so they need a soft bedding. This stuff makes their cage smell in a matter of 2 days.
