> 3 dayIt’s solder. It has resin. It flows and makes connections. Isn’t solder pretty much a 1-star or 5-star thing? Is there artisanal solder that I’m missing out on? This stuff works, and it works very well. Buy it.

> 3 dayWith regular 60/40 solder, the solder undergoes a plastic period where its not entirely a liquid and not entirely a hard solid. If you bump or wiggle the joint in this plastic period, it ruins the joint. Save yourself the hassle by just getting this formulation which more or less eliminates the issue. Bump to your hearts content.

Greater than one weekI do a lot of soldering repairing pinball and arcade machines. Usually, run through a couple of these spools a year. This is the best there is, been my go to for nearly 5 years now.

Greater than one weekThis is a good choice for your basic home electronics soldering work unless you need to be RoHS compliant. The eutectic tin/lead ratio is the easiest to use.

> 3 dayIn general I like working with this solder; but it does tend to collect, or glob up on the end of my soldering iron. Its very sticky. But it melts easier than the lead free stuff. I guess you should make sure youre in a well ventilated area when using this stuff, I dont think breathing in the lead solder fumes can be good for you. Im using it mostly for arduino, raspberry pi, embedded programming type circuits. Havent tried it w/ any SMD components yet. It will take me a long time to go through all of this solder, you get a good amount for your $. Id buy it again and look forward to practicing more with it.
