Misplaced the AC adapter for my Synology Diskstation DS-918+ in a move from WA to FL. I ordered this based on reviews and it is a perfect fit and my Synology NAS is happy and running great using this AC adapter. I noticed it had pretty much the same output rating in amps as the OEM adapter that came with my Synology. Problem solved, Im happy.

I ended up ordering this twice as my first one was DOA, leading me to question whether or not it was my machine that was dead. However, the power brick has a light on it and the first unit’s light was not lit. Using a multimeter, I could tell there was no power. The pin out is printed on the label in case you need to check. Second unit works as intended, light is lit, brought my NAS back to life

I went to access my Synology NAS and to my surprise it wasnt there. When I when I went to my network rack there were no lights on the NAS and the LED on power supply was off. I ordered this KFD replacement power supply hoping this would solve my problem. And it did!! Im so glad it was not my NAS and just the PSU. Im also very pleased the KFD replacement unit works well and has very similar specs to the original PGB PSU. If you need a power supply I highly recommend KFD as a replacement. Correct power output and pinout for DS918+

The original PSU for DS918+ failed after 3.5 years. This KFD 100W power supply works great as a replacement.

Dreaded flashing blue light on my DS918+. Unit would boot up without any drives and also with a 2.5 SSD so motherboard looked ok. But as soon as any 3.5 drive was inserted the unit would fail to start successfully and reboot (when trying to power up the drive a few seconds in). Replacing the power supply with this KFD unit resolved my issue.
