> 3 dayHad an older Synology DS-414 that suddenly up and died. Troubleshooting indicated that the external AC adapter was bad. Found this one with same connector and output amp/volts. Syno is now back up and running. Im happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayMy Synology was randomly powering off for unknown reasons and then, one day, decided to turn off and never come back. I suspected the power adapter immediately and jumped onto Amazon to order this replacement. While the connector to the back of the Synology was a bit tighter than the OEM, it went in fine and as soon as I connected the power, my Synology came back to life! While its too early to tell about longevity, this adapter feels very solid and should last for at least as long as the original (5 years).

11-06-2025Misplaced the AC adapter for my Synology Diskstation DS-918+ in a move from WA to FL. I ordered this based on reviews and it is a perfect fit and my Synology NAS is happy and running great using this AC adapter. I noticed it had pretty much the same output rating in amps as the OEM adapter that came with my Synology. Problem solved, Im happy.

> 3 dayOur DS412 died (power supply dead). This is an exact replacement and came quickly. Our life is on that NAS. So thankful it came so quick.

> 3 dayDreaded flashing blue light on my DS918+. Unit would boot up without any drives and also with a 2.5 SSD so motherboard looked ok. But as soon as any 3.5 drive was inserted the unit would fail to start successfully and reboot (when trying to power up the drive a few seconds in). Replacing the power supply with this KFD unit resolved my issue.
