Klipsch RP-450C Center Channel Speaker - Ebony

nice looking center that goes well with the whole set of klipsch, the dialog are very clear. it a good value for the price.

I purchased this Center Channel Speaker to replace a smaller and older Klipsch center channel speaker in my home theater.

It was bigger and heavier than I expected, but I should have known a quality speaker system like this would be hefty. The sound is phenomenal. I am so glad I bought it!

My initial impression of this 450C, Big, Heavy and what a match for my recently added, Klipsch RP-8000F L/R and RP-140 SA Height and Elevation Speakers. I was using an Aperion 632 L/R as Center which was OK, but I wanted the Fronts matched as close as possible. After running them for one day with varied content, I started watching Movies with dynamic and robust segments where the sound from the 450C was clearly more distinct for dialogue and other discernible effects like notable bass coming from the center. I was surprised with the added Bass and had to sit close to the 450C to confirm, since it was noticeable from my seated position. Yeah, Bass from a Center? It definitely adds to the overall listening experience. I did not realize that my Sub was OFF. My HT setup is now crisp and clear with an unbiased approach to neutral sound reproduction. The specs of the 450C is identical to the 504C and about $160 less expensive. I am glad I found this on Amazon because I now have a robust Front Stage. Years ago, I did not really believe that a center was necessary. But now with all the various sound fields including DTS X and Dolby Atmos I am a believer now. I was surprised to find that the crossover is a three-way.

Great speaker. The dialogue for movies and TV shows is clear. I loved it so much I purchased two Klipsch RB-81 II Reference Two-Way Bookshelf Speakers. The combined sound is fantastic.

It sounds great. Essential addition to the AV home theater system for clear dialogue and better music reproduction also. Just having the left and right main speakers sounds thin without this addition.

What a huge difference this makes , overt the top pleased with our purchase ATMOS sound is incredible , super happy

I had trouble hearing dialog before from my system. Now I dont. Only bad thing is that now I feel I need to upgrade the rest of my system to match my center channel. Also remember that this speaker weighs 40 pounds if trying to mount on a shelf.

had a smaller version klipsch ctr for years. couldnt hear most dialog.( Im 70) my Klipsch La scalas sort of drowned it out. called crutchfield for help. RP 450-c plays well with the larger speakers. I can hear again.
