> 3 dayInstructions in the manual are not accurate. Yet, the setup on wifi was straightforward. The KMC Smart App user interface is easy to navigate. Easy to setup on Google Home or Alexa after setting up on KMC Smart app. Energy monitoring details fairly accurate. Though, the energy monitoring is for the whole smart plug not individual plugs. Individual plug monitoring would have been nicer to have. Dont expect the build quality to be at par with other brand-name smart plugs like Kasa, Wemo, ... Wont bother much about that, as smart-plugs are usually setup only once, oblivious after.

> 3 dayI originally had high hope for this product. I received two units pack. One unit was not working out of the box. The instruction is not clear and the software did not correspond to the right product. I thought something went wrong with the software instead and spent hours doing trouble shooting. The other unit worked but was very hot when using. I dont know whether I am saving energy or waste energy at this point. Anyway I went ahead and asked for a replacement thinking it is just bad luck. What I got was a used unit and there was only one unit inside even with the label saying two unit pack. Now there is no option for replacement anymore but only refund from Amazon site. Very disappointing.

Greater than one weekTook a little while to get them set up with google home, (didn’t include any good directions) but once it was set up, they’ve worked great. Fast response, stay connected well. It’s nice to get control of three devices from a single smart outlet.

> 3 dayIts easy to connect to the wifi and the app is simple to use. It has energy usage but its not by individual plug its for the entire 4 outlets. It would be better if it could connect to smartthings but for now I have to use a separate app to turn it on and off. You can also set a schedule per outlet. The bottom outlet is always on so you have 3 controllable outlets and 1 that is always on.

Greater than one weekI just received a 2-pack of this KMC Smart Plug yesterday. The setup was a breeze. One of the units I received was Dead On Arrival. It had a malfunctioning socket, but I will be getting a replacement after a quick 5 minute chat with Amazon. Here are the pros and cons of the units after my one day use. I will update this review when theres anything Id like to add. Pros: 1. Easy and polished Android app called Smart Life by Tuya Inc. making it super easy to setup.(I havent tested the iOS app) I found it easier to setup than setting up the Amazon Echo via the Alexa app. 2. Cheap. It will pay for itself after just a few months. For example, I have a smart vacuum that drains 13 watts/hour 24/7. It would save me $20 in 6 months if I program it to only charge the vacuum one day a week. Ill be playing with this functionality with my other vampire power devices in the house such as my WIFI-enabled laser printer(idles at 9 watts/hour), analog oven(idles at 15 watt/hour!!), XBox, smart TVs, etc. 3. Gives you easy control to areas that are hard to access. Now I can just pull out my phone to control via the app or say Alexa, turn on/off my TV backdrop light instead of crawling to the back of my TV. 4. Alexa, Google, IFTTT integration is so dang cool! Cons: 1. The instructions manual DESPERATELY needs an update. It tells you to should download a banned app called KMC Smart. It was banned because it had services that ran in the background of your phone that shouldnt have been running. The one you should download is called Smart Life. The seller really needs to update the manuals as this is a very critical step. 2. Sockets are too close to each other. 2mm more padding space would be more ideal for most plugs. 3. Sockets stay off after power outage. The statement on the product description is not true: After a power outage, outlets will retain their most recent setting to save energy. I hope the smart plug will get a firmware update to address this issue.

> 3 dayAt first I thought it wasnt compatible with Alexa. After downloading the KMC app and connecting it to my skills, I tried one more time, and it worked. I set up voice commands in the settings of KMC on the alexa app. To change them, just go to routines.

> 3 dayI am using this for a fan that I can control through Google. Works well. My only complaint is during setup it can take a it to get into discovery mode, but after that it was smooth sailing!

> 3 dayI bought it to monitor power consumption independently on each outlet but it only shows total consumption combined. i also have other smart plugs they show lot more easier graph then this.. if they improve it, it would make it lot nicer & useful device.
