These Knipex wire cutters are actually mini bolt cutters. They are made in Germany using the highest level of materials and workmanship, and there is absolutely nothing else in the market that can match them for continuous work. I have a construction company that specializes in wildlife fencing and we have used Knipex continually for 25 years for cutting 12.5 gauge high tensile galvanized wire. Although we have tried a number of different brands from time to time to reduce costs, nothing else works for us.
