Wow. Using these to take down chain-link fencing. They may seem pricey given the size, but they cut through chain link like it was hardly there. You get what you pay for. Knipex takes first place with this precision tool.

i build alot of bob wire fence, which requires alot of wire cutting. fencing pliers are o.k. for wire cutting, but these make it easy. after buying my first pair and using it i ordered a second pair, just in case i lost or had my originals stolen. these are expensive, but quality seldom comes cheap.

Good tool for high tensile 12.5 gauge wire fencing. Although it is expensive it works way better than other 8 hand cutters.

I use these to cut anything I would not want to use my side cutters or diagnals for. Hard wire, small bolts, small chain etc. Journeyman elect. Texas

use on my fishing boat for hook accidents. Tested cutter on hooks up to 7/0 and it was like cutting thru butter. Next time someone gets a hook in the hand or wherever, easy peezy, snip it.
