> 3 dayHigh quality film for the serious enthusiast. This is not a cheap film but the results are amazing. It has the finest grain available and particularly good for large prints.

> 3 dayThe colors are so true and real with a slight emphasis on the warm colors. The grain is fine and appropriate. I use this in my Nikon film SLRs (F75, F80, F100).

> 3 dayKodak hit a home run with the Portra line. They adapted their movie film stock (VISION 50D, etc.) and used a similar chemistry for this enthusiast / pro film. It is by far the best colour film I have ever used. Colours are superb without being saturated. Grain is virtually absent. FWIW, Ive tried Portra 160, Portra 400, and Portra 800. ISO 160 is good for a bright summer day (and super-fine grain), but the colours are less punchy. Portra 800 is good for low-light situations but the grain is noticeable. The 400 ISO product is a good compromise.

> 3 dayThis film took everything I threw at it and made it into something beautiful. Even in low light I was surprised by its performance. Didn’t use these for anything professional but they worked great for the family photos I was taking. Shot these with a $30 Canon Rebel G.
