> 3 dayI broke my old tape measure and saw this on one of the daily deals and ordered it without much thought. When it arrived I realized it had a feature I really like, reading the measures. It lists the fractions (1/8, 1/4, and so on) and lists the inches after 1 ft (11, 12, and so on) making it much easier to read than my old tape measure. Im glad I found this. And the price was great!

> 3 dayWell, I’m left handed, as seen in the photos. This is the only thing I hate about it. It feels rugged and a bit heavy but only because it’s 25ft. I wanted something to measure all the windows, carpet lengths, etc. for remodeling and purchases. It has rubber gripper around it so it doesn’t slip away. It has notches around the top and back for more grip features. I would like the black print to be bolder, but it is still clearly visible. When I extend it out 20ft+ it does lose its rigidity but I’m not in construction so I don’t need an extra duty tape measure. This one meets all my expectations and needs.

20-11-2024I didnt expect it to be as good as a brandname metal one. But still, the quality could be just a bit better. When in lock mode, it squeaks like crazy. And the lock mechanism feels like itll break any moment. But it does its job an the actual tape is thick and sturdy

> 3 dayI got tired of fighting the POJ Stanley - so i bought 2 of these. What a nice surprise!! The ruler pull out/retract is almost effortless and quite smooth, and the measure increments are easy to read - even for an old coot like me! :) Plus - the whole thing is just the right size. It fits easily in my hand and makes managing it all much easier. Only thing I wish would be a color other than DeWalt yellow. Gimme some fluorescent pink or lime green! Heck even a summer sky blue would work! Anything color that sets this apart from all other tools

> 3 dayI needed a back up tape for work. I am a cabinet maker so the wider tapes by Stanley and Lufkin are a little much. I have 3 Tajima tapes scattered about that are starting to get the dreaded kinks and sluggish spring. This Komelon tape suits my needs. Smaller with a rubberized case...easy to read and most of all it was under $10. How long will it last is yet to be seen but if I get a year out of it I will be happy.

> 3 dayStandard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what Im writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether Id purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! I love this Komelon Gripper Speed-Mark tape measure. My old thin/cheap one that I used upstairs finally pushed me to the brink to the point where I wanted a new one. I have a Craftsman that I use as well but that is in the shop. If youre using a cheap tape measure, you know the dance of trying to get the tape to stay extended with our bending because of the cheap gauge of metal used in the tape. Not so with this Komelon. Its extremely sturdy. In fact, while holding the tape measure I can extend it almost 8 unsupported before it breaks. Pretty incredible. Additionally, the gray tape is very easy to read and I love the measurements being listed in 1/8 increments with unlisted 1/16 marks as well. The roller mechanism is smooth and the locking mechanism sturdy and secure. A tape measure is one of those things easy to skimp on early in life when you dont understand the difference quality makes. And then when you upgrade, youll never go back. This is the case with this Komelon and its an easy repurchase if I need another one. Ive even considered replacing my trusty Craftsman.

> 3 dayEdit. 6 months later the tape is showing signs of rust along the edges. The full length. It has not been wet. ----- This tape really helped me easily measure in imperial after having grown up using decimal.

> 3 dayReally like this measuring tape! I originally bought it for my work bag but its a little too big for my purposes but I am still keeping it for at-home use. Its a hefty size with a protective case. I love that the measurements are easy to read so you can be really precise with your measurements.

> 3 dayFavorite tape measure Ive ever owned, bar none. Love it so much, bought a second one (so could always find when looking for, lol :) ) I mean, come on, I never thought Id so much as even write a review for a tape measure of all things, let alone have this many good things to say about one : ) PROS: • Plenty wide, but not too much so. • Great stand-out distance • Very easy to read • Operation couldnt be better – extends out and pulls back very easily; brake holds excellently • Perfect overall size, super easy to hold – not too big, not too small, but just right, and lightweight too CONS: • It doesnt wash dishes. BWAHAHAHA, jk – there are no cons! :):):)
