Somewhat cheap quality

I just remodeled my kitchen and I needed this for my dishwasher. I went on a ledge and ordered one that was used in good condition and it looked brand new. It’s beautiful. Very easy to install.

I noticed most of the reviews on here are for the soap pump, so I’m happy to provide insight on the air gap. Even though it took over a week to arrive, it’s here and I love it. It’s actual metal, stainless steel, that matches my faucet perfectly. The flat top detail is gorgeous and unlike any of the other ones I saw when researching them. I also love how this air gap cover has threads on the inside, so it actually screws onto the air gap pipe underneath, instead of just snapping on top of it. I would have liked the option to order just the cover and not the whole piece, but it gave us the opportunity to swap out our old air gap for a new, much cleaner one. Hands down would recommend this air gap. I can’t speak on the soap pump since I don’t have one.

ease of installation and sleek look

A few years ago I installed a Kraus kitchen faucet and have been super impressed with the quality and brand, which was little known (to me) at the time. This new matching air gap shares the same quality. Nice looking and well made.

Looks nice with my Moen faucet

Needed to add an air-gap for my dishwasher. Went with an upgrade, as this is a one-time purchase. This was easy enough to install. The cover can be removed for cleaning, and compared to others, this one will hold up much better.

It did not work. The plumber was also perplexed with the connections. Dirty water from the Dishwasher empties on to the kitchen counter! We inspected and reconnected the connections several times, with similar results. Kraus was courteous and sent me a replacement. But i do not want to spend another $100, to pay the plumber when he says that he cannot guarantee that it will work.
