13-06-2025Super clean, crisp sound with sufficient bass and volume. There isnt a pair of headphones within a $100 of them that Ive had the pleasure to use.

Greater than one weekThese IEMs sound incredible! The clarity and balance and sound stage is unreal! I own other brands of IEMs from Shures to Westones to Fiios, with 2 and 3 drives that cost 3x more than these and they are either too much bass or treble. None are balanced as these. The only addition I would love to see would be a wire clasp to keep the cables in place behind the ears and a longer cable (which I know you can buy separately elsewhere). I use these for extended period of time while playing drums to music or just listening to tunes. I combine these with my FiiO X5 HiRes music player and the quality is unbelievable! Overall these are just outstanding for the price.

> 3 dayI had been looking at these for so long. The 5 BA interested me. I’m a artist I love music. A lot of the reviews complain about them being flat.... try TRUE!! Real music lovers will appreciate these more than anyone. I record my own and being able to hear things for what it really is, Winner!!!! I mean I use these as ear buds as well and songs I listened to thousands of times and know like the back of my hand all sound like I’m hearing them for the first time. If you want to truley be immersed in another dimension of crispy tones that are unbelievably clear!? Get these. These In ears will let you hear everything fromleft right pans, each distinct layer, most Faded way back instraments listen to me! get these. I even heard phrases that were always unclear for the first time. It’s almost like the sounds are being mixed in your head. The cord is awesome quality it is braided and looks really nice. I’m not sure of the standard cable because I got the one with the mic. The noise canceling is A1!! Like a can’t hear NOOOTHING outside of what I’m listing too. You almost are worried someone could break into your house and you wouldn’t hear a thing. I even used these under my ear muffs at the gun range for added ear protection. The bass is smooth as hell. I love bass but I like controlled bass. They are not going to rumble the ear buds but trust me the bass is very strong, none distorted and deeply satisfying. Remember quality and detail is hear....get it lol They fit in your ear are super comfy. I can lay on my pillow and forget I have them in. They are flush they don’t stick out of your ears so they are super low profile. There is a mesh in the inside I had to get a flash light I was worried about dust or ear wax maybe get in there but it safely sealed I chose these because I needed to premium pair or do it all ear buds and I found them. THE NIT PICKS Ok so I will nit pick about the fact there is no carrying case. They come in a really fancy box which is exciting because you know you got the real deal and music will never be the same lol but I’d prefer a case. These are super nice and it’s hard to want to bring them with me for the fear of damaging them. 2ndly Foam ear tips So you can get away with the silicone ear tips BUTTT... your ears will begin to hurt. they get uncomfortable after time. Go ahead and save yourself the agony of a 2nd shipment wait time and just order a set of Foam ear tips so you can put these in and fall in love 3rd

> 3 dayIf you are a normal person who just wants better sound for your music and movies, look no further. For three times the price of your EarPods, these will provide your extra money’s worth in sound quality. You can power these perfectly from your phone alone without needing any external power amplification. In many ways, these sound better than my $200 AirPod Pros. But just know you’re sacrificing some convenience and comfort of the AirPods for the better sound quality of the AS10. But if you are a social outcast like me, aka audiophile, then read on: -Comfort: It’s fine. My ears are average in everything, I used the medium tips and they fit and isolate sound just fine. You need them properly inserted so you can hear the sound spacing properly, but they’re not difficult to adjust. -Build quality: It’s okay. Not as fancy as a $520 Moondrop variations but for the price you can’t complain. They’ll last probably as long as you’re alive, which is what matters. Included cable: It’s my favorite cable in terms of quality. I really love the texture and low stiffness. It doesn’t make any sound when it rubs against my beard or belly (huge belly people, this is for you). My only nitpick is that it’s a 3.5mm, which is good for most cases, but I had to switch it for a 4.4mm balanced cable for my own uses. -Sound staging: For this I used my HD650 as a benchmark, and to be honest there are a few things these headphones do better, to my surprise. The better handling of the lower frequencies gives more room for the headphones to set the soundstage and everything sounds subjectively better than it does on my HD650. These still sound less good than the HD650, but they sound 80% as good for only 20% the price, which you can’t complain about. The bass feels in the front, with the mids sitting slightly behind, and the treble screaming right against your eardrum (I’ll talk about this bellow). Set-up: these headphones aren’t amp or dac picky. But all my amps are solid state, so maybe a valve amp will sound different. Frequency (Bass): Graphs don’t tell you everything so I’ll focus on what my ears perceive. The bass of these headphones are better than anything I have heard bellow $300 dollars. The next headphones that come anywhere close to these are the Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk, which are 5 times the price of this. The bass is present, clear, accurate, but doesn’t bleed into the mids, doesn’t make the sound feel muddy or boomy. Well done KZ, I appluad you for the amazing low frequency driver. This has potential to replace all DDs out there for me. And the sub bass is just *chef’s kiss*. My only issue is that the powerful low frequencies feel ticklish to my ear drums sometimes. They physically resonate with the entire tissue of the ear drum which is funny feeling, but it’s no way a deal breaker. I’d rather feel the tickling than have them tune down the Bass. Frequency (Mids): This is a V shaped set up, so the mids are lower than everything else, with a dip around the 500-1khz range. But they’re so accurate, clear, and present. They just take a small step back to let the Bass be the star of the show. But they’re not sacrificed in any other way, which is what you want out of a V shaped tuning. Frequency (treble): this is where they messed up. Once you pass the 2khz mark, you start leaving the gates of heaven and entering the gates of hell. The treble is so harsh sometimes, there’s also some sibilance and distortion that makes things worse. If the Bass sounds like it’s coming from a $300 headphone, the treble sounds like it’s coming from bootleg $15 earphones. The issue is you can’t fix it with an EQ properly because the bad sound comes in spikes and is not consistent across the treble range. The sound from 2khz to 12khz is hell, then it dips and comes back again to attack your ears at 19KHz. The problem is I’m still 26 years old and can hear frequencies up to 19,700Hz, so the badly tuned noises above 19KHz are highly audible to me. I’m sure the engineers in KZ don’t care about those because they probably can’t hear them, but please KZ fix your high frequency sound for the young people who can hear it. We are your target demographic since older audiophiles usually are better off and go into the more expensive market. Summary: Amazing headphones with the best tuned bass and subbass. The only issue is the treble (especially between 2-12khz and 19KHz+) where it needs a -3db retune, preferably with a treble dampener.
