> 3 dayI am looking for in ears to use in a rock band setting. I am guessing that i will want good balance and articulation. Flat response is probably better than a scooped response or a big bass boost. I so far have tried 6 in ears. I found that the AS10s were too scooped and the highs got lost. So i returned them. The other units i tried were all KZ or Basn. Of the KZ models, the CCA c12s were awesome and at that price point ($50) easily the better choice. However, there is a lot to like about the Basn models. They are very classy looking and come with everything you need for in ears and a nice carrying case.

> 3 dayI have mixed feelings about these things. At first I really couldn’t tell if they were good or actual garbage. I have an iPad Pro 2018, with a “Mokin” brand usb hub thing, which gives me a 3.5mm audio output for my iPad (they don’t come with a built in audio out anymore). And when I listen to anything on my iPad using my giant headphones or even other earbuds, it sounds just like you would expect... clean and clear audio. But plug in these KB earbuds and instantly nothing sounds good at all. It’s full of static. Full of gnarling sounds like the way old dial up modems used to connect. And if I iPad screen with my finger, or run any app, I can hear the iPad “thinking”, with grunts and warbling and the sound of shredding metal. So naturally I thought these ear buds were beyond garbage. But then I plugged in my old ear buds and my old ear phones, and listened. Carefully listened. And shut doors, turned off fans, made my room super quiet, and listened again. And I could hear it. So faintly, but there it was. Grunting. Warbling. Shredding metal. Dial up modems. So faint I had never even noticed them before. But as soon as I plug in these KB earbuds, all those unwanted sounds strand out like a barking dog. And to be honest, it gives me mixed feelings about these things. They make my audio setup sound like absolute trash. Basically it’s forcing me to research into solutions to try to fix noises in my audio system that I previously didn’t even know were there, and at the expense of my pocketbook. All that said, I can’t tell you whether these KB earbuds are really just more “clear” and thus allowing me to hear noises I didn’t hear before simply because of the sheer level of clarity, OR, if these earbuds are somehow isolating the noises that you don’t want to hear and somehow amplifying them. You might expect me to favor option 1, and say it’s just clarify. But actually I kind of want to lean towards option 3. I actually think these earbuds are doing witchcraft. That being said, I must admit that there are a few things I dislike about these things. I genuinely hate the wires. They are squiggly. Set these things down for 1 second, and when you pick them back up again, it’ll take you 5 minutes to detangle. This means that every time I want to out these on it’s like putting on a space suit. It’s definitely a lot faster for me to put on my giant headphones than these. And one last con: I wish these things had a volume knob. Because these things only have one volume, and that’s “way the freak too loud”. If I plug these into my iPad, and turn down the volume of the iPad to the lowest tick (one tick away from “audio off”), even at that minimum volume these things are blasting loud, so loud I literally can’t push them into my ears, have to let them dangle loosely. Seems like I’ll absolutely need to buy a 3.5mm volume knob to attach to this, to let me turn it down more.

> 3 dayGreat sound, comfort value for the money. My only gripe is the pins on the right one are a bit loose and the monitor can fall off the wire with minimal movement. I purchased this pair to leave them at my desk at work so its not a big deal. I do not think I could ever commute or go to the gym with them.

> 3 dayI bought these to replace some universal fit single driver in-ear monitors I have been using for several years. These are a massive improvement. I can hear details in recorded music that I simply did not hear before. I paid significantly more for my other set, and these are far superior.

> 3 dayFirst IEM set and I cant believe the difference in detail, I work in the AV industry and have heard and tested 100s of High end audio systems. Primarily traditional speaker systems not earphone or monitors, but I have a very good reference and knowledge of good sound I have used about 20 different types of headphones/buds ranging in price from 10-4500.00 and for 60.00 these are an amazing value. I do agree with the wire tangling complaint this is a very true description from other reviews.

Greater than one weekAmazing in ear monitors. Excellent volume, excellent range, and good bass. I did upgrade the tips to some memory foam tips, but that is personal preference.

13-06-2025I’ll keep it short. I have owned multiple kz earphones, these outweigh the rest, but to be honest, WHY SO MUCH BASS! I thought these were reference earphones, not beats by dr.dre! Otherwise there balanced well for the price.

> 3 dayThis are great in ear monitors for the money I paid.if they can only add to the ear holes adapters one more size down cause the smallest included are little tight for me.
