These worked great when used with a blank. I got one stuck by using 1s and 2s so be sure to use a blank. Ordered a new batch, they work very well.

Ive been trying to practice with these on a simple cheap masterlock with no anti-shim guards and already went through 4 of these trying. theyre nice and thin yes, but they have no strength and thats what you need to push away the bearing. After a little use as well, once they lose a little shape they basically turn to tin foil.

The shims come in a small container to keep them from getting damaged or lost. The count is 25 per container, a good price for the quantity. The shims are sturdy and reusable (if your careful).

What can you say? they are lock shims and they worked for shimming a few locks!

The shims are the right thickness to fit but they are not rigid enough to unlock even the most basic masterlock. This is a shim that got stuck and even after opening the lock with the key it would not budge. Using tweezers, the remnant the you see in the photo is all that could be retrieved. After opening it with the key, the remnants inside were shredded and couldnt be removed. The lock is now partially damaged.

Used to rekey a lock that missing key shim works well. You need to use consistent firm pressure when used for this purpose.

I used this product to rekey some lock cylinders that I did not have keys for. I wanted to have all the keys for my outside doors keyed alike. This was my very first attempt to perform this type of work and these shims worked perfectly. I hope future purchasers have as much success with their project as mine . Thanks, TJM
