Exactly what I needed

Had number of Schlage locks but the keys were nowhere to be found. Watch several Internet vids on how to remove cylinder without key using shims. These worked. Takes a bit of practice but eventually you get the hang of it to slide the shim between the cylinder and the pins. I was able to do two to three cylinders before the shim started crimping.

Ordered these shims. They came packaged in a good plastic case. 25 shims of good quality. They were exactly as described. Very fast shipping and arrival.

I would like to see them with a little more carbon. They are too flexible, but better than some.

Great item. Worked great for slipping this shim between the pins on a dead bolt lock.

If you have a box of locks without keys, use these to remove the cylinders for re-pinning. They cant be used on the front of any locks Ive seen, so the lock has to be taken off the door prior to use. They appear to be original LAB parts, and fits nicely in my pin kit. I get a lot of uses of of one shim.. if you ding the end, trim it off and use it again.

When these were purchased I had never attempted to shim a lock. Since theyve arrived Ive opened seven or eight locks in effort to develop some skill. They simply work.
